Hell, I've never dived in my life, This would be a reason to. I'll borrow my buddies gear, head out in a boat and do my first dive here. How hard can it be? Just breath thru a tube and swim around. its funny how fast the stream cools out on the outside and keeps to flow inside, breaking the skin on the tongue of the stream until its cool enough and another stream flows down, neighbouring the old one! I love that.

@jayfer22190 they dive right into the deeper levels, under the boiling hot water so they wont get cooked and the lava doesnt have enough time to heat up were they are swimming so theyre almost perfectly safe

These pillows are fairly hot. The Discovery Channel used a heat gun on my boat which varied between 3400-5200 on the surface. Underwater the lava is encased inside the undrwater tube until pressure forces new lava to emerge exposing the red hot pillows lava. as sceen in this video.
