Nice touch. As for why the logo looks the way it does, all NBC O&Os do that, they call themselves NBC (channel number), but their logos say (channel number) NBC. WNBC is an exception, as they're branded "4 New York. I've heard a rumor that WPVI will do the same thing, rebrand itself "ABC 6" but keep their "6 ABC" logo.
