The way Barbra sings this gives me hope...I've always been waiting for a "prince" to sweep me off my feet...but never had any luck, thus leaving me constantly down over it. But when I hear Barbra sing this, about a prince she falls in love with and who loves her the same, about the day her dreams come true...I become a little more hopeful for a chance of love in my future.

To this day, I still say lol I hope Kelly Clarkson does mermaid. The Little Mermaid blu-ray music video that is. I hope she does a cover to part of your world and the reprise and makes it her own somehow, and doesnt copy entirely the great Jodi Benson. Absolutely gorgeous. The only better version is the original . I wouldn't say the Ashley T, or Cheetah Girl versions are BAD,but this version is a bit closer to the original. I also like Mermaid, though I would'nt say that it's better than any of the"Big 3"(Snow White,Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty) , I think, in the end,because Walt WAS planning a version of The Little Mermaid in the 40s, anyway, he WOULD be proud! Now this is a real pop version of a Disney Princess song. It gives the orginal song more love and feeling. It sounds just as good as Snow White singing it. This is how it should be instead of these disney channel teenagers singing them.
