I remember that episode of Friday the 13th. That guy was obsessed with Vanity's character in the episode, and actually became her towards the end of the show. He turned into her and was performing one oh her songs, and he started to change back into himself as he was on stage. It was erie, but great episode of Friday the 13th. Vanity was also in an episode of Tales from the Crip with Whoopie Goldberg. I wish Vanity would have continued acting. She was getting better and at it. :(

This is so awesome. I was a kid of the eighties and huge fan of Vanity, Prince, and all the rest of his proteges. But I remember once seeing an episode on a series, that I couldn't place, about a guy who was obsessed with the Vanity character and becomes her. For so long I thought had imagined this and now that I saw this clip, I know I wasn't imagining this! Thank you so much for the post!!!!!! Toney
