There's no such thing as a perfect society. Democracy, kapitalism, are the societies who caused less death, so it's not that rotten and false after all. But then again, men will do what they can best: to destroy. That will be our death and ain't nuthin' that can change that.
I agree: a perfect society on earth is not possible since man is essentially weak. Not just in body but also in mind. But what we are seeing today, that is the deliberate destruction of 2000 years of christian civilisation and the removal of God everywhere. That never happened before in human history.
That's exactly the problem today: only the instinct counts, just like the animals do. They kill each other with great brutality. Our whole society is founded upon the word of God. Today's society, with it's false morals and hypocritical values, is removing itself from God and therefore plunging itself into death.
Thanks for your reply. You are right that the "dark ages" weren't dark at all. Our universities, science and nicest buildings all stem from that period. If anything should be called "dark" it sure are the times we live in today, with its endless moral decay.
I visited S:t Michaels Cathedral in Bryssel last Easter - wonderful - a great memory - but revolting with new vierd stuff they have put there.. I suspect the anger of the Archangel himself!
Nice also to see the statue of the great catholic belgian king outside.. I have forgot his name..
Thanks for the comment! The King is Boudewijn I - his brother Albert II is on the throne now. Alas Archbishop Suenens got the royal family into this "charismatic renewal" sect so that the once very Catholic Belgian royal family is now gone. I will make some movie clips of this statue es well.
The new things are indeed very misplaced in this ancient and large church. We can litteraly see the smoke of satan in this case.
The alter that should be used is at the backwall of the church, facing east.

No no, dark ages don't exist!! Men are just beings with instincts. Nothing dark about that. Rule of the fittest you know.

When I do good, I feel good, when I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion - Good old Abe Lincoln.
And hell yeah it's correct!
Worshipping God, puhlease!
But... nice cathedral though!:D
The Dark Ages weren't that dark after all, huh?
Now, ain't that the truth mates??
