@CT2507 you obviously werent born then, it was the square ass white-bread crowd that tended to be in the Mike Douglas audience once in a while, James Brown was wowing audiences all over the world and considered QUITE the big deal. Douglas's show wasnt a late nite show, i was a daytime show and you didnt get on it unless you could pull ratings, he just ended up on the show on a day appalachian tours decided to visit

Why so short? Wish I could see the whole performance. Michael said he was always so frustrated because the camera would always pull away from JB feet. I feel that way when viewing some of Michaels tv show videos too.

IT DID!!!! I vividly remember being about 6 years old and seeing this clip on my family's new computer and having my mind blown by this clip. There was a great clip of Leadbelly on there and one of Johnny Cash, too.
