  • (Also when you play the G, keep the G in the bass and play the C on the B string, but keep the bottom E sting open. I think that's how they do it.)

  • Instead of barring the chords, such as the B and the C, if you leave the bottom E string droning the whole time (the B string maybe too), you will get that spooky discordant feel from the original recording. That's my primary criticism. Good job going up to that higher voicing of the B chord though, a lot of people get that part wrong. I do a slightly different voicing up there when I play it, but that sounds close too.

    Thank you! I think I could have done a better job if I played along to the actual music track but at the time when I made this video I had seen the youtube lawyer nazi's shutting down a lot of people who were doing that with Cure music. I think they have calmed down with that or maybe my disclaimers are working so I still do want to do a proper cover. Maybe if I can get out of my procrastination rut I will get it done someday soon. lol
