Hey mate, just wondering how you ran your intercooler pipe from your intercooler to your turbo, im having alot of problems with it and the sway bar. if your could explain it or take a picture it would help alot of my headachs. thx jono
@123box123 There is a link to my build thread in the video description and go to page 6. Basically I did a sharp U-Turn around the radiator and ran it in between the radiator and sway bar. I also made up some brackets to support the piping. You will have to modify one of the plastic trays if your supra came with them, the rest will fit back on like stock like mine. Hope this helps, good luck!
@ashthebartender Cheers mate, at the moment I am running the following as far as engine mods are concerned. XSPower T61 turbo kit, Haltech PS2000 ECU, Speedflow braided oil lines and fittings, Turbosmart Hypergate 45, Turbosmart E-Boost street, Turbosmart Dual port BOV, Innovate LC-1 wide-band, Apexi Ex Titanium zaust, Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors, Bosch 040 fuel pump. Also have a HKS headgasket and ARP headstuds to go on but in the mean time I'm just enjoying boost.
what about your downstream o2 the one that goes into the converter, does the wideband also take over that one aswell or did u just put a different converet on it and put the o2 in the pipe after the converter?
@123box123 That's not an o2 sensor its the catalytic converter temperature sensor that the stock computer uses. You don't need it so either cut it off pull the wire into the interior or just cable tie it up out of the way somewhere. I don't know its exact purpose something to do with emission control.
@Sdesign88 did you use any stand alone ecu's or did u use the Apexi safc and a wideband to tune it like i see other ppl doing? thx your really helping me out.
@123box123 You can use a piggyback but a piggyback can only do so much. More often than not they are more trouble than they are worth. I'm running a Haltech platinum 2000 standalone ECU. My advice would be, if you have the cash to go standalone then don't think twice about it! you'll thank me later :P
@123box123 You don't need a new map sensor you can run the N/A one. I'd recommend putting in a TT map sensor anyway they are only worth about $50 and are cheap insurance in case of an over-boost situation. Most standalones come with a MAP sensor built in, I prefer having mine in the engine bay though.
Nice dude, i have JDM too, and i got T3-T4 hybrid turbo, ar60, inlet looks like big turbo i compared with my friends stock CT26 from Celica GT4 mine is much bigger, now i will put it on my Supra, i have some questions, do u running stock injectors?
Fuel pump is big, cuz in SZ is same as RZ from TT at least in JDM Supra they are...
What more ill need to put turbo? FMIC anything else?
@LeonidK340 Nice, yes you are correct about the fuel pump however if you're running stock injectors they will max out at about 6psi of boost. I'm running 1000cc Injector Dynamic injectors along with a Bosch 040 fuel pump. The plan with mine is to push 400RWHP. Basic items you need for the turbo conversion are FMIC, piping + joiners, wastegate + vac lines, fuel/air controller, oil lines, exhaust manifold, dump pipe and a box of random bolts and screws
Yeah pretty happy. Going in for a tune/clutch this week so I'll hopefully get some new vids up of a couple highway pulls. Can't wait to see how she goes after this!
You should convert it into a gte air intake chamber/throttle body etc would make it look cleaner and sexier. Also get a bit more hp... nice work though looks good
@Sdesign88 nice, thanks for the reply and keep up the work and vids, plannin for my na to a na-t, was there any problems or it went all to plan? sorry to keep going on.
@hellssupra87 Lol no probs it's fine nice to see another na-t in the works. You need these questions in your head otherwise you'll end up missing something or doing it wrong. My problems where the dump pipe needed welding as it fouled on the manifold and firewall. Also since my supra is JDM (RHD) the power steering rack was in the way of my return oil line, make sure you get the right fittings! My advice research as much as possible and learn how everything your installing works. Goodluck.
@Sdesign88 thank you for the info, means alot mate, you will prob hear from me later lol nice to see a clean and smart looking engine bay, and thanks again, hope to see more vid, take care mate and i think i need alot of luck on my side lol
@hellssupra87 If you need any advice or questions answered send me a message I'd be more than happy to help you. Thanks for the compliments by the way. =D

What did you do with your maf? is it obd1 or 2?
dehart177 2 months ago
@dehart177 There is no MAF on my supra because it's a JDM import so it runs on the MAP sensor. Makes for a cleaner intake :)

How did you set up your 2 o2 sensors up to your down pipe? Your dp has the thread in type and the stock o2's are flanged..
123box123 2 months ago
@123box123 I replaced both my o2 sensors with an Innovate LC-1 wideband controller. You don't really need 2 o2 sensors anyway.

ProShakk 4 months ago
@ProShakk Not yet, still waiting on injectors before a tune. Then we'll see how she holds up.

What gearbox you have 5 speed or 6 speed?
ProShakk 4 months ago
@ProShakk 5 speed W58. I wish it was the 6 speed.
