We always hear politicians say "never again" - until it happens again. Then they do nothing for years and pass the problem on to their successors, unresolved. As Edmund Burke said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing" and, for years now, evil has triumphed in Darfur. I pray that Pres. Obama, Ambassador Rice and others will find a way to end this genocide. Engagement is the first step and I commend you for being engaged.

The biggest , after the economy, is the regional problem with Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq, The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Zimbabwe, and the Congo also share the FP spotlight.
