indeed, hamilton was punished incorrectly in 2008, but that wasn't kimi's fault. that was racing at it's best......

kimi was forced to get off the track because he was near the grass and would have really slowed him down when he was on the grass in a straight line. he choose the shortest way over the grass and get traction on the tarmac(?). he didn't take anyone out, and also two other cars followed his safe line. avoiding a crash is racing too, see the mess a few turns lator. i believe it was a good choice of kimi.

p.s. kimi je u prvom zavoju bio prisiljen skrenuti van staze jer da je pri tolikoj brzini išao vanjskom stranom staze vjerojatno bi se zabio u dvojac ispred sebe (trulli, kubica), ovak je spasio sebe a i još nekoliko bolida od sigurnog sudara, a istina ja da si je malo i otvorio put za puni gas, sve u svemu je fer i odličan potez odličnog vozača

da barichello nije ostao onak stajat kimi bi već u prvom krugu došao do prvog mjesta, mada s druge strane nikad ne znaš s tim kersom, ovak je bilo čak i bolje za kimija :)

Kimi's "steal" in the first curve was completely legal and that has been used for example by Hamilton in 2007 in exactly same way. Also he got his tires dirty, but he still drove the Eau Rouge in full speed!

Hamilton was pushed off in the 2007 turn 1. Kimi chose to go off in 09' and gained 2 spots by braking late and not following the herd.  Stewards who are inconsistent. That's racing!!
