@whsdrumlinechick ...I can see the Mexican Mountains from my property on the Rio Grande in Texas, so YES, you can definitely see mountains in Mexico. However, I believe this was in New Mexico! There are also mountains in Eastern Oklahoma as well as near Fort Sill, Oklahoma...My NAI ancestors were in the reservation in Eastern OK.
Remember that the people today are not the people that did raped and murdered our ancestors, however they do support a government that continues to rule over land that was stolen by blood from our ancestors. Stolen feels like the wrong word here. The land belongs to no one in truth. No one should ever have to pay or get permission to live anywhere, mother earth is here for us as a birthright. we are her children. she does not belong to us, we belong to her.
this is pissing me off! My ancestors would roll over in their grave! Entertaining the white man is purely annoying and having them say i am native is utter horse patooty
Give us a little piece of land and expect us to stay hush hush it is really horrible but your ancestors and the descendants and well the white people sleep well at night knowing they had and have blood on their hands sad
@Southernbelle1802 I agree......... We can't make rain with out being in silence among our ancestors. They broke our tongues and made slaves of us. I'd never dishonor my blood like that, never..........
after 100s of years of genocide being pillaged and raped, being demozided for your spirituality and having your land stolen from you only to be being given small areas of land back while surrounded by and amidst a loud obnoxious cold spiritless society...your Spirit is still as strong as ever, not even faded(maybe stronger)...and i thank you and show support and shed a tear of many feelings ranging from sad to happy.

@Southernbelle1802 Not all "White people" were here during that part of U.S. History. Such broad generations should not be made.

@Southernbelle1802 Well, What can white people do to atone for the deeds of their ancestors and return the land stolen from the first nation?
