This is good stuuf. Problem is, who listening have the power to change what is going on no one. I am not part of that problem nor can I make a change. Those that can just clapped there hands and continue to do the same thing. One thing about america talkers with very little action.
Climate change isn't a political issue, it's a human issue and I applaud anyone who uses breath enough to say that. Sadly, there aren't many travel options besides flying or driving when you are traveling across the country to tell the truth, but I am open to scientists like yourself inventing new ways of travel. Sadly, it seems like people spend more time railing against those who take the time, energy and yes CO2 expelling breath to give a damn than to work towards a positive change.
Another powerful piece. Every major organization committed to change needs these two guys to speak up and out for them. Anything that gets people talking, debating etc. is a good thing for the country. Sending this out to everyone I know!
This is not say that we don't need to change our ways, but we must stop using climate change for our political agendas. Al Gore is not a scientist, but I am. Not to sound high and mighty, but I and many other Americans want this "Global Warming Bandwagon" to end. Does this outfit travel in an airplane, or a tour bus to spread the word on "Global Warming"? If so, it would be pretty hypocritical. If you want to take a stand, walk or ride a bike, but be careful; you exhale C02 as well.
Actually trees and vegetation do much better in high CO2 environments. 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy from sun --> C6H12O6 + 6O2. So in other words, trees "breathe" CO2. Studies have shown that global warming causes vegetative explosions in regions where plant growth was limited. Also global warming and cooling has happened throughout the Earth's history of 4.5 billion years. Fossil records and soil samples have proved this. Man only has a drop in the bucket effect on climate.
