I posted it... yeah... I'm sure people would decided to vote for or against someone based on this video (sarcasm). If you're THAT easily convinced... I'd recommend NOT voting this time around.

@ufgerd12 -- As late as 2005 & 2006, Romney made jokes like this? "I believe marriage should be between a man and a woman … and a woman … and a woman," Romney quipped at the 2005 St. Patrick's Day breakfast in Boston. He made the same joke on Don Imus' 2006 St. Patrick's Day show. Romney's family tree has lots of polygamy. and his father was born in Mexico. He's currently trying to convince the Tea Party he's a good Christian who will reduce the debt.

@ufgerd12 -- What did Christians think of Romney issuing 378 marriage licenses to same-sex couples in 2004-06? More than any other action by Romney, these special licenses demonstrated where his heart was on the same-sex marriage issue since they were purely discretionary. There was no mandate forcing Romney to issue such licenses. This calls into question his authenticity as an alleged social conservative candidate.

How prescient JFK's words were. People had issues with Joseph Liberman's jewishness when he ran as Al Gore's VP and now the finger of suspicion points at Romney merely because he's LDS.

Im a democrat and a mormon, and Im not sure who im going to vote for yet, not Hillary for sure. But I thought that Mit Romney's speech was great. He was patriotic and told all the sceptics what they need to know, that he will be a president first. His faith in God will guide his decisions as president, just as his faith in God and Jesus Christ guide his decisions as a mormon.

Mitt says what he needs to get elected. The fact he was willing to use illegal workers to save money that he has plenty of makes me sick to my stomach. If that is how mormons are i want no part of them.

Do you do any research? He had no idea that the workers THAT WERE HIRED BY THE COMPANY that he hired to do the landscaping were illegals. The owner of the company is a family friend. Are you suggesting that we as Americans, for example, should inquire and inspect the legal status of any foreign waiters/waitresses at a restaurant you are going to eat at? No.. that's the employer's job. The fact you don't understand that exposes your judgment capactiy.

He gave the speech because he thought all the Iowa evangelicals are switching to Huckabee because they are intolerant towards mormonism. The truth is that they just don't like his flip-flopping.

what flip flopping? You think he flip flops just because Dick Morris tells you he does? Huckabee has flipped on immigration, flipped on taxes, flipped on financial aid for illegal immigrants. Huckabee is all over the place. I don't see how Huckabee can call himself authentic with a straight face.

Especially when he now brings up supposed Mormon Doctrine and then claims he knows nothing about it. The baptist church is very well known for producing anti-mormon literature and teaching anti-mormon classes at their seminaries (Check the curriculum at Golden State Baptist Theological Seminary) and Gov. Huckabee was a keynote speaker in Salt Lake City when they held their National Convention there. He knows nothing? He lies.

Voters and the media keep bringing it up in a negative way and Romney had to address it. He didn't want to nor should it be needed but many of the evangelical voters denying him for his faith pretty much forced his hand. Similar to JFK having to give a speech on his Catholicism.

No.. he's been constantly criticized for being Mormon and was asked about it almost everywhere he went. He tried to not talk too much about it because that's not the nature of the office he's running for. But he felt he had to address it all in one speech. Similar to JFK having to explain his relationship to the Catholic church if he were to be elected.
