It's true this was written for Britney originally, but she turned it down to do 'Me Against The Music' with Madonna instead. (I believe Sweet Dreams performed better in the UK charts, although was never released in the US Billboard)

Most songs are lyp-synced when there is dancing involved.........wouldn't be able to hold those long notes at the end if she were all out of Breath

This song was ment for Britney spears as a reply to Justin timberlakes 'Cry me a river' If you listen to the lyrics it fits perfectly to what justin said about britney and what he did by making his song =P But Rachel still did a great job xoxo

This song was written by Cathy Dennis, and yes I believe it was originally intended for Britney Spears.

However Cathy did get a Britney "gig" in the end by writing "Toxic" for her. Britney's career had a noticeable resurge when Toxic came out, and of course Rachel Stevens career got off to a flier thanks to this song.

Pop music production is a grossly underrated art and people such as Dennis and producers like Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Sugababes etc) don't get the credit they are due.

I Agree! Xenomania 4ever, they are Great. And Cathy Dennis is georgeous too, isn't she who wrote some of the best songs for Kylie like CGYOOMH?

Oh yeah, I read that too- but they passed because it was 'too personal' since it would have become like a reaction to Justin's 'Cry Me A River'. Would have loved her to have done it!

You can't really blame her for lip synching. After all, she is executing a very technical dance routine, which, in many pop music performances, is more important.
