I'm trying to understand the work of Kafka, why he is so remembered and revered by many. I read 'The Trial' and wasn't very impressed, today I finished 'The Castle' which I liked better, but still not enough. I'm sure I'm missing something, I want to find out what was so special about his work. Now I've begun reading 'America' which so far I'm enjoying better than the previous 2 books. Perhaps it's just a matter of taste, we all differ in that. Anyway, thanks for sharing, perhaps this'll help.
Kafka has given us the blue print for the human condition.
