i hate this kind of gameplay it just forces you to press certain buttons at certain times, there's no sense of involvement or strategy you can have in it if it revolves around that
To the people saying that this is a copy of Ninja Gaiden, it is not. It's hard to make a ninja game now a days without being compared to Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi to some extent. While it's true that Ninja Gaiden does have a deeper fighting engine, it's also deeper than just about every other action game out there. No, Ninja Blade is just an over the top ninja game and nothing more. It doesn't take itself serious and is just about fun.
How the hell would it be hard to make a ninja game without it looking like Ninja Gaiden? Yeah, if you HAVE to dress the ninja in a modern weird costume, add huge monsters, chainweapons, insane speed, wallruns, power crystals, insane aerial battles and all that, ok THEN it's hard. But why the hell can't there be a ninja game with human enemies, stealth and REALISM? Even some of the character animations are exactly the same. (Vigoorian flail).. the BATS. running up a wall jumping from wall to wall
I've never denied that Ninja Blade has things in common with Ninja Gaiden, I just said that the two games aren't really that similar.
If you want a realistic ninja game, there's always Tenchu. I know the series has been going downhill and Tenchu Z sucks, but the newest one on the Wii looks pretty good IMO.
This does have a similar style as NG2, but it's way more over the top. They both go for the super-ninja experience and that's probably where they are most related.......
This is what OXM said about this game "if Ninja Gaiden and original Xbox's mystical undead samurai Otogi had some godforsaken lovechild, guess what it'd look like? A hell of a llot like Ninja Blade's fast paced, skyscraper-scaling hack-and-slash action"
whats the song playing in the background?

But YES I'll enjoy the game. But denying the spot on resemblance is just denial :P
And I bet the makers of Ninja Gaiden are pissed. I'd be. They've "copied" SO MANY ideas, it's ridiculous.
If I'd NEVER heard of Ninja Blade and someone told me that this is an expansion to Ninja Gaiden 2, OR upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3
- I'd have NO trouble believing it.

I still wouldn't call it copying though =p
I think both games can stand on their own just fine.
Ninja Blade for those looking for a more mindless hack n' slash and Ninja Gaiden for those looking for a bit more depth in their combat engine.

reminds me of Otogi
