  • xin you are the best

  • It sucks when ppl with tourettes or anger issues get the top rated comments.

  • god dam redneck in the back saying knee knee it's anoying

  • Xin is gassed.. Xin is better overall though, by far.

  • all he did was clench man and he took that advantage on xin

  • btw the grabbing is called clinching. If you know nothing else about fighting know that. Western boxing ontop of most ring sports allow clinches. He's not grabbing an arm or leg or finger, but merely closing the gap.

  • Everyone plz stop commenting about how its unfair. The other guy has the same restrictions. Xin did ok, but crying over him like a fan girl is not the best way to assess the situation. He had what he had. Rules or not you have to adapt to a situation accordingly and do your best. If he won you guys would have been perfectly fine, but he didn't. Elbows and whatnot may be a big part of muay thai, but regardless if he was better he would have won.

  • @hakuboshi1 You know what screw your comment. Xin showed way more talent and potential in the sport, and this guy, Nick, this will be his greatest moment ever in this sport is the fact he beat Xin. You can tell in his technique and instincts aren't there. He blows at positioning, his speed, and agility.. it's like wtf. I agree Xin lost fairly, but I think he lost in a lame way, namely due to inexperience. Give Xin time and this guy would not get close.

  • lol screw my comment? LOL you fan boys and girls need to chill a lil bit. In no way was I being mean, I was being real. Realistically he lost fair and square. Realisticaly most of his flips wouldn't help him in this situation, because most arent practical. And obviously, if you think about it losing in a lame way it may be, but it was by fair means. It goes the same for any fighting sport, your not the champ unless u can bea the champ. Im not saying Xin is bad he just lost.

  • im sure Xin knew what he was getting into when he chose to fight, im sure he was conditioned, the other guy happened to use technical blows to win. If noone goes down the one who appears most offensive wins. I admit it was lame, but its cut and dry.If you show no offensive ability your pretty much down. Plz dont hate my comments. Xin is boss in xma, but in reality you cant win everything all the time. And seriously, If you gave Xin time youd also give Nick time so the outcome may not change ROFL

  • @hakuboshi1 lol xin knew what he was getting into...but he only trained the week prior due to other priorities. conditioning was his main reason for losing. he is conditioned but conditioning for this type of fight is different, a different regimen would be required compared to his training for stunt work etc etc.

  • lol kids actually thinking that hed win if there were less rules? ROFL and making excuses. Hes strong and good at martial arts, but your muscles take alot of beating. Being able to punch and kick are essential for any fighting. I dont think flips would do anything xD I laugh at cloud. He grabs him because knees hurt ALOT. Notice hes not cheap fighting by grabbing arms and whatnot

  • @hakuboshi1 He's not allowed to use elbows either. Elbows are a huge part of mui tai.

  • damn people, you win some you loose some, and you bounce back and thats what he did

  • No, Xin loses because his opponent is always grabbing him.. and not allowing xin to do some moves...

  • he's not allowed to use flips = (

  • yup because i think its only kickboxing that is allowed maybe other martial arts are prohibited just maybe...

  • @Cloud1o7 I agree.. Xin was tired, and didn't know how to deal with the mua tai clinch.

  • XIN should have used his backflip attacks

  • Which one is Xin? 0.o

  • the one that got rocked

  • Black Trousers

  • sigh, i though Xin would be better than that... he's still my fav urban ninja but i gotta say, fighting is not for him...

  • KNEEEEEEEE lol

  • Go XIN!!

  • Fuck....that dude in black was fighting with his hands down the whole time... he must have missed that part in Muay Thai about keeping your hands up.

  • Comment removed

  • Sleepz, you'd get fucking owned. You're a pussy 15 year old who's probably never been in a fight and is one of those cock sucking cunts who needs to shove a guy and pretend he's strong or have all his friends behind him before he'll throw a punch.

Why don't you grow a cock and learn some rules about Muay Thai. He can't do any of his normal attacks because they'd be deemed to be breaking rules.

Fucking idiot. Learn the rules and go back to school, cunt.

  • how about making a video of you beating someone that would really help for you point

  • nick is more heavy

  • you guys are probably all wussies xin could kick your ass so stfu GO XIN

  • xin all show

  • importkid34, another hater...what's new?

  • haha not hating just tellin the truth ....i like xin but all his stuff is croud pleasers

  • true.

  • och xin lost cuase those knees he got hit with by the thai lock

  • the winner is nick...u can see that

  • Xin has what it takes but he needs a little more work under the hood.

  • who won

  • sure nick clenched alot, but if xin was a really good fighter he woulda avoided them or shook em off...i bet if xin was doing what nick was you all woulda been like,"so what xin whooped his ass!"right???well it don't work like that...well said alexd562...

  • pardon my lack of experience in these fights :p, but who won , u or xin?

  • In case there is still doubt of who I am or whether it's Xin I've uploaded my own better quality version of this fight which includes the announcement of the names. While Nick Nguyen is rather common, Xin Sarith is not, so I hope that puts the issue to rest.

just replace the (youtubedotcom)(fwd slash) with the actual thing spelled out or go to my profile and there will be a vid link there.

  • Hello I'm Nick the fighter in the red and yellow shorts in this video. I'm a muay thai fighter and occassional fight highlight maker (haha). I took this fight on December 16th, 2006 on rather short notice but in the end was glad to have had the experience.

Yes this this is indeed Xin Sarith, we hung out after the fight and he told me a bout his tricks videos and stunt projects and for sure I wish him the best in his endeavors. It's great to see him doing well and I've become a fan myself.

  • did you win this

  • yes

  • oh good for you man i just wanted to know

  • wait is this xin sarith phan wuku?

  • yea im sad to say it but thats Xin....you here a guy yell hey xin around 1:40-1:44

  • hehe my dad is judging

  • yep.. it has to be Xin then. Wow I guess this really shows that with greatness comes ALOT of hard work. I'm sure Xin learned a whole lot since this fight then.

  • Ok I would like to kill that person who keeps yelling "Knee" beause it's so freggin anoying. But that was a good match

  • I don't know. Nick had great hits, but they were clinch, then knees. Xin had fewer hits, but they had variety. So for me, I think it should of been a tie.

  • nicks a faggot all he did was hold xins head down and knee

  • do you know anything about SEA (South East Asian) kickboxing?! The clinch is a basic kickboxing technique and its effective too. XIN probably didn't know how to defend against a clinch when this video was filmed.

I'm a friend and fan of Xin's and I have to admit that Nick is the winner of this match.

  • Well said. Also clinch is seen in regular boxing as well. It wears down their opponent as well since it can stop the person's momentum, etc ,etc.

  • Is this the reason XIN started to learn Muay Thai ? He put up a good fight !!
