I have been born and raised in the South. I do not appreciate ads like this. They only bring down our people and our culture. Obviously, you don't care about either. By the way, ask your family what Kay Hagan has done for the state -- nothing. On the other hand, Senator Dole has brought millions of federal dollars to my beloved state and kept our military bases open (important to me since I am a member of a LARGE military family and have five cousins in Iraq currently).

My husband was an Army Ranger and the only thing Republicans ever do for soliders is send them to war. They don't care about them or their families once they're maimed or killed.

I, too, was born and raised in the South. What I don't appreciate is Republican pandering to our "alleged" way of life. Not all Southerners are wrapped up in God, gays and guns. Some of us care about our childrens' futures and not only what scares us.

Military connection? If you are married to an Army Ranger, you should know military families never accuse someone of "bringing it up." Just so you know, I have five cousins in Iraq right know, an uncle who was there, an aunt who flew during the first two years, two grandfathers who served their whole life, five uncles who served in Vietnam, and four great uncles who fought in World War II. And yes, I am a PROUD Republican. At least my party votes for funding the troops.
