Either I was never breast-fed or was not breast-fed enough. That said, I've got asthma, severe allergies, diabetes, and I'm highly susceptible for getting upper-respiratory illnesses. I'm trying to get over one such illness now.
What many people fail to understand is there is no set time when to stop breast-feeding. The only time to stop is when both the child and mother are ready to stop...be it six months, two years or later.

I just checked with the La Leche League. This organization has been around for decades. They said a mother should nurse their child for as long as it is mutually agreed upon. The longer the breast feeding continues, the more beneficial it is to the child. Obviously the child needs to be weaned at some point. There was a lot of information on their web site.

lots of people breastfeed to that age but personally for me its to long. In my opinion mothers that breastfeed that long are doing it for themselves and not for the child. It's a comfort thing and a real bonding experience.It is actually very beneficial for the child, most Doctors will say do it as long you feel comfortable for. Breast milk does wonders for the brain and immune system.

I simply think that it is polite and BETTER for women to cover themselves as much as they can when they do it. I don't have a problem with people doing it in public either but would hope they would cover themselves a little better.
