I got a 9.9 evinrude kicker on my 97 sundowner with the e-tec 175 it a great backup at 10knots .

@stdavross666 a kicker motor is a small motor, usually 2-9 horsepower, that is attached to the back of the boat along side the main motor. This smaller motor is used for trolling purposes where the big motor can not idle slow enough.
