Well he couldn't make the change until after his sickness was worn off. Cut him some slack. All singers have days when they aren't at their best.
Show some love and next time say something like...."Hey, you should redo this take since you were sick, and make it sound AMAZING!"

Wow you guys are so amazing. I think the lead is a little flat the whole way through though. The bass, bari and tenor are awesome.
