  • @applesaucekat No it isn't. Wallace Connection made the original composition but it was never sampled. The version i Monster sampled was the one by Gunter Kallman Choir. The WALLACE CONNECTION have never been sampled. Period.

  • Janice-Marie would kill me if I didn't point out that "Sukiyaki" wasn't the follow up to "B.O.O". They hade 5 other charters including "Do It Good" in '79 & "Rescue Me" in 1980, before they released "Sukiyaki". You'll remember that "Rescue Me" was ripped in total by The Nice & Nasty Three in '80 for their cut "The Ultimate Rap", The Funky 4 + 1 on "It's The Joint" & "I Got A Man" by Positive K in '92.

  • As for "Sukiyaki", what happened is that when getting clearance for using "Sukiyaki", Janice got clearance from one of the writers. UNFORTUNATELY, the writer forgot that he had given up his rights
