  • The sound of my youth,

    Walkin Talkin - just so optimistic - I loved 85-86 so much

  • owengrain - had to check . It was '85 and on the Sunday afternoon just before Hang Wangford cheers

  • spuddie67;

    was it definately 85? i went for the same reason, but I'm sure it was 86....????

  • seen them in glasgow in 1991 fantastic night

  • Silvertown remains one of my all time favorite folkrock LP's, several excellent songs to play along with with my fiddle. Very nice to see they're still vibrant after all these years, great gig. Is that the daughter of one of the members or just a little girl from the audiance ?

  • I bet they struggle accepting new record deals

  • I still forget how great they are live...

  • great stuff...would have loved to have been there..well done spuddie !...was there a big turnout in the Acoustic tent??..were they well recieved etc..cheers !

  • Hi bud, i was working backstage at the acoustic tent thius year and had the priviledge to see them play an absolute STORMER of a set:)...very well recieved, 600-700 people maybe a little more and they got every single one of em on their feet...best thing i saw all weekend by a country mile, and that little girls face :)...what a story

  • A pretty decent turnout. Their set was one of the best I witnessed over the w/e. All a bit surreal really as the first time I went to Glasto in 1985 was because they and the Pogues were both playing. 22 years later it was as if time had never passed. A certain Bobby Valentin o alos played in '85 with Hank Wangford and here he was again playing with the Men.
