  • that probably just a robot

  • lol why's everyone being so mean to Japanese without them we'd actually be no where... So think before u say cyber warriors

  • The last of it's kind, they killed it. How would you want that to happen?

It was living in peace before they took it away.

Mother nature probably hates us humans right now.

  • @iHugHobos1 lol that wasnt the last one to ever live

  • Shut the fuck up about the Japanese killing the shark. It died because it wasn't in it's natural habitat. If anything humans in general are responsible for the shark's death.

  • They didn't kill it, it died because it was used to being under all the pressure of the deep sea.

  • @blankpageblank and its eyes arent used to the light either, probably causing it to swim like that

  • @TheMrNibzster Ya. It's kinda sad, but like.... it's nature or... it's own fault I guess :)

  • wow they fucking killed it :l

  • it is soo creepy i am NEVER going scuba diving in japan.

  • This thing was dying when the y found it. Compare to other pictures of live frill shark (admittedly there aren't many). This is one sick shark.

  • thats ugly.

  • i think this is from all that radiation from thier melt down!!!!

  • @newphow this was uploaded in 2007 baka

  • The frilled shark holds the world record for the longest pregnancy in nature: three years.

  • it looks like a basking shark

  • Looks like an eel got it on with a shark.

  • As id Japan couldnt get any more epic

  • Good job Japan, so Rare, yet they killed it.

  • @Zombl337 no smart one, they can only come up to the surface to die

  • while fishing in the north sea we sometimes catch these sharks as well their jaw is awesome

  • That looks so freakin' cool.

  • wow.. alien shark :p

  • @XtremeF34Rzz no there are more. we just don't see them much because their natural habitat is down in VERY deep water.

  • Wow they killed it

  • @twilightluver0858 they ate it

  • Damn nature you scary!!! xD

  • Seriously, shut the fuck up about who's better. All this stereotypical bullshit is stupid. Grow some balls and understand that not everyone is like your stereotypical crap.-.-

  • what get to japan stays in japan.

  • oh cool what a discovery we are going to be so rich! oh never mind it died...

  • there are more of these

  • @fataloxygen thats becuz the facts are fake you wuss no proof huh wow fail and also dont say we are largest whaling country when you lie about proof you fag go suck your moms tits fool

  • Just like the Japanese scientists. Look, if you don't know the population number of a species and it's natural environment is hundreds of metres deep it might not be able to handle the water pressure near the surface. I don't know why it was there but where it was was much better then in a tank for study where it died. Heck, that was probably their plan. I wouldn't put it past them just for the chance to cut it open...

  • Anna Chan is cute

  • @RPGgamer98 wait wait....you LIVE in the USA! HAHAHAHA how can you call me a fat american when you live there!!!! Stupid chink

  • @sgbash006 lol no i dont i live in obu, Japan and CHINK THATS RACIST BUDDY!

  • @RPGgamer98 /watch?v=mCqPXhhxZIg

watch it, learn something about ur country this is a part of you all great countrys culture

  • @RPGgamer98 quite concerning I know more about your country than you! SHARK FIN SOUP, is one of your fine countries delicacies...perhaps if you left your room you would know, is that because maybe it is you who is the fat one? Also have you heard about about Apple, Dell or HP? They are all USA companies who make "systems" i.e. computers, and quite successful. Sorry about your owning in advance :(

  • @RPGgamer98 clearly you have no idea what BRITISH means....which actually makes you just like an American, SHIT AT GEOGRAPHY!! How does it feel?

  • @RPGgamer98 haha sorry dude but looks your the biggest fail today....I'm British and also not fat (if somehow that makes any difference in this argument) Either way your country is slowly being foiled by heroes such as the Sea-Shepperd, you mercilessly kill whales under the scam of benefiting science (when it really only benefits your yellow stomachs!) Go kill everything left in water and then be left with only tofu to eat!! I don't see it as a coincidence that nature unleashed a tsunami on you

  • Of course the japanese kill it and fry it

  • @sgbash006 see how long you fat dumb cunt americans live without us! and also you are ignorant for believing only japan kills water animals ALSO THIS FRICKING ANIMAL WAS ALREADY DYING IF YOU COULDN'T TELL wow not only are americans fat and dumb but also apparently deaf lol YOU FAIL!

  • Bet this would make great sharky fin soup, mmmm savaaaage

  • Comment removed

  • @RPGgamer98 You need to relax and not take things on the internet personally.

  • @kymmi0 wow really? he said japan rips animals fucking skin

  • @RPGgamer98 Lol. You're going to let someone you dont even know affect you?

  • @kymmi0 Yea. Lol. You're getting into this conversation why?

  • It died and hour later...."Yeah because you took it out the water and f******* killed it"

  • it's obviously not pre-historic, it's not even historic.

  • I think human greed flashed upon the person who decided to take it away from its home and natural habitat for 'observaion' I think it is clea what happened was, they wanted to steal it and make a shit load of money from it. Will we never learn.

  • if it looks like Rayquaza

  • All I thought was, Japs find some rare fish, an hour later it's dead? lol

  • all quick get your masterball

  • @shadowsinshade came from ass. thats how much u know

  • Quick! Someone throw a Pokeball!

  • damnit mom i told you to quit scuba diving in japan.

  • they are full of shet. poor shark

  • the most boring voice on the planet

  • that poor thing was used 2 living thousands of feet underwater. u cant just move it, that shark was old, c'mon ppl!

  • The reason this animal was at the surface was that it was already dying. A healthy frill shark would stay very deep below the surface. I agree they should have left it alone to die in peace, but it wasn't going to survive whatever happened.

  • I wonder if the museum they are talking about in Japan is the one at the tsunami area? Near Fukushima or not? Is anyone know?

  • It's a mutant

  • =O

  • i bet they killed it

  • @ruphz No they didn't, they capture it and put in the aquraine unforuantly the shark was in poor condition, therefore die :[

  • i knew it pokemon era is comming gotta catch one !!!!!

  • It's kinda cute in a way....

  • @icecream5212

    no, no, no.....no

  • HORNY ASS SHARK + LONELY ASS EEL =THIS SHIT

  • leave it to Japan to find a goddamn dinosaur and kill it in an hour.

  • @Ultimategrid it was close to the surface, it was probably dying already, if not, it's little trip to the surface was what killed it, not the Japanese.

  • @Ultimategrid At least they don't head out and kill 1000 innocent people in a village in 10 minutes.

  • @Ultimategrid They didn't kill it. It was sick when it was found. :/

  • @MistressVixen

Bet you it was eaten later.

  • @Ultimategrid racist

  • prehistoric shark found deep in the ocean they think the lochness montster and the monster of monterey are real and are infact just pleasiosaurs

  • it looked like it was ready to keel over when it was in the fricken ocean what made them think it would survive being moved to an observation tank!?!?

  • Why are its gills like that? Does anyone know?

  • @jesseluo711 the frills in the gills (O.O) help it breath in the deep sea since there is little oxygen down there.

  • Oh no!! I wanna dive with her

  • A wild gyrados appeared!

  • R.I.P SHARK THING!

  • why do scientists always capture the creatures for observation, they always die when they do that. :(

  • great video...It is so amazing to see so many creatures that exist that we never see because they live so far under the water.....

  • must we kill/capture everything we find??

  • @DJSIMPLYP

Sadly, the thing doesn't normally live so close to the surface, and the movement suggests that the creature was probably in the process of dying while being filmed.

  • @Zombielocker i understand but ocontradicting points. if it lives so deep that we cannot observe, we cannot know if it is healthly or not. maybe it could've recovered in its natural habitat. it could have been the last one for all we know. im very curious about these and other deep sea creatures. such a mystery!

  • PRE-EVOLVED GODZILLA!!!! GET THE NUKE BEFORE IT EVOLVES AND HAS BABYS!!!!!!!

  • SHARPEDO!

  • Xd, whoops I thought It was extinct but It's still alive!

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the internet one night see video book trailer

  • it looked old

  • this is a mutation not something from the deep sea!!!!

  • i dont think that is a historical shark , its more a mutation.

  • a deep sea creature getting out of its natural environment? does this here something to do with the Japan earthquake?? or at the Japan UFO's?

  • It couldn't of been just because they moved her since she is a DEEP SEA frilled shark she probably went out of the area she is usually in (deep waters) and just kept swimming till she came close to the surface of the water. And she probably couldn't adapt to shallower waters.

  • fucking dumbass's why the fuck would you move it out of the water you dumbfucks, just put a tracker on it's fin and let it swim off.

  • @JoshTehVideoMaker chances are it was already dying. it normally lives in the deep but was near the surface. she must have been in rough condition, and they should have known that

  • @JoshTehVideoMaker Sadly this was caught by a fisherman, who didn't know what to do other than alert the nearby aquarium. By that time, the Frill Shark barely had not much time left after leaving the cold freezing depths of the ocean. :c Poor shark.

  • @JoshTehVideoMaker Yes, so they could find it dead three days later instead. The only reason a deep sea fish like that would come up this far is to get at the more readily available oxygen. Thing was dying anyway, why not study its last few moments?

  • @JoshTehVideoMaker really? you hippie and you dumb.. yea put a tracking device on a dying shark so we know where its dead body will be in a few minutes waste all that money! wow.. dumb hippie

  • @JoshTehVideoMaker Damn how stupid can they get?

  • she died because you moved her.. its proven that a lot of wild animals not exposed to humans die after not being in captivity that long.. couldn't they just watch it in the ocean or something?

  • WHY WOULD YOU MOVE IT?! ¬_¬

  • disguisting

  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCAARY!! wtf is up with its gills?

  • did it taste good?

  • they should have just left it where it was.

it's an ordinary frilled shark, nothing new. it's not because the reporter or the fishermen never saw it before that it's a great discovery etc. Why don't they just have a special segment on zoology? or a full tv show? then they can show all the "weird" animals they want but they don't have to pretend it's "news".

  • made in japan!

  • Only in Japan.

  • Wild Gyarados appeared! Trainer used Net Ball! Gotcha! Gyarados was caught! Gyarados Died!

  • The shark seen in this film died just hours later, and was then eaten.

  • Japanese: " OMG A NEW SHARK SPECIE!!!....Lets eat it "

  • @FunKCX STOP BEING RACIST how did you know they ate it huh? americans like you bitches are retarded racist FAT FUCKS your all fat and whores

  • @RPGgamer98 Cmon....dont take these things too seriously ;D

These sharks are beautifull....but damm why catching them -___-

  • HEY ITS CALLED THE GETEN POKEMON

  • It died because they took it out of its natural habitat!!!!!! Ridiculous that we as human beings kill everything we see in front of us....

  • theres only 4 left!!! EFF you japan

  • @mow11mow1 atleast japan found one, what has america done? make people fat with their donuts and mcdonalds?

  • @Nagrarok081 ur right

  • @Nagrarok081

uhm. Like, shut the fuck up? It was a RARE fish. Therefore, most countries are not going to find it. So technically you are stereotypical, you think all the countries have accomplished nothing for not finding this shark. XD I know that's not what you meant, but your low iq like comment speaks for itself. Plus, America accomplishes many things. We have so much talent. Anyways, what weaboo likes Japan? You. XD

  • @ShadeGirl123 im japanese first of all, and it is true that america has accomplished some things, but i dont really agree with their government however, and even if it was a rare fish it was going to die anyway so may as well dissect it to gain further knowledge in Ichthyology

  • @Nagrarok081

One accomplishment for Japan big deal. Lol, but I do agree with you on how our government sucks ( greedy bastards ) But, I don't really believe anyone's government is perfect either ( Except China's government comes in first place for the worst government ), but yeah you have a point. And too bad that shark will be extinct probably anyway.

  • @ShadeGirl123 well even if the shark is extinct, we should be grateful that we found one of them by pure luck and actually learned a few things about it before it became extinct.

  • @Nagrarok081 Hey u wanna know why americans are so fat?its not cause of donuts for Mcdonalds its cause theres a man made ingredient Called High Fructose corn syrup (a sugar).Which facks up with ur body and makes u gain more fat.Not gonna explain it alot.but that ingredient came from china and is now everywhere in America .and other places.and like 40 years ago? Before this Ingredient came out.people were slimmer.andnow this time people have gained like 30% more fat then how it was in the passed

  • @Nagrarok081 Unless u work out like a bitch like me man xDD that ingredient wouldn't effect u that bad.but no matter what u screws up with ur cells that.which makes u adsorb more fat.

Japan has that to.i dont care if u say anything about americans..who gives a crap and jap girls are hot as hell.but just telling u that

  • @mow11mow1 EFF you america for not doing anything! fat people think they are superior! JAPAN BEAT YOU TOO OF THREE WARS and the only way you won was with a bomb best you could think of WOW

  • It seems to me more like a moray eel than a shark.

  • if they would have left it alone and not tried to test it it wouldnt have died... you people anoy me... and yall didnt even care that it died you just wanted to test on her... uggg all of yall need to die....

  • hey fucktard it came up to came to close to the surface and its body couldnt handle the sudden change if you died we would have one less dumbass in the world seriously we all need to die stfu non one likes you you are so getting subbs saying that

  • "ohh look they found a new species....dum ass japs..there gonna eat it till its extinct...what losers lol

  • more like grilled shark

  • not everything requires more sacrifice then time

in order to study something you dont have to kill it of open them up lol

i bet you damn japs ate that shark just like you do with pretty much anything even poop

  • rayquaza

  • @DaBunnyMasta lmao

  • @DaBunnyMasta Hahaha!

  • @DaBunnyMasta Huntail.

  • @DaBunnyMasta remind me more of a water-steelix

  • "although it could star in a jaws meets jurrasic park sequel"

    LOL SO FUNNI XD

  • This is scary, the lower body looks alive but the upper body looks dead,it look like only low part is alive and swims around

  • loks like a shark had buttsex with an eel and had a reatrd baby

  • i would have stayed away from it

  • OH FUCK

  • Oh my god! They tried to study it in a tank to study it and reasearch it and it died because they took it out of tits habitat and because so little is known the tank setting probally werent right! WTF JAPAN!!! Trying to make rare animals go extinct or any species to go extinct for that matter. Everyone counts leave it in the fucking wild and study it there! its common sense to leave it in its natural habitat where it will act normal instead if putting it in a tank where it wont act normal! WTF!!

  • this is weird mostly all the new or rare creatures are found in Japan

  • "moved her to a sea water pool for observation" yea right, a saucepan more like! we shall observe her in this saucepan, a pinch of salt please! they like seawater! *said in a stereotypically and borderline racist chinese/japanese (they're the same) accent* hah fags

  • poor thing, no wonder it was floating around, it was dying... and stupid jerks had to aggravate her while fighting for her life.... not cool....

  • it is said that bottom dwellers (creatures that lived at the depths of the ocean) resurfaces only on there last days so this frilled shark really only had a few moments to spend, at least she spends it with us

  • poor shark ... but whats that on her gills? it looks weird.

  • Awe that is so sad! What a lovely creature! I feel very lucky to have just glimpsed this beauty over the internet those Japanese Marine Bioligists must feel frickin blessed! Too bad they couldn't have saved her. . . ♥

  • Garados

  • They should have at least put her in water conditioned like her very deep habitat. I'm sure the shallow water conditions played a big part in her death. Poor thing.

  • are there any more of these? does anyone know it's errr...official name i guess? i mean i know it's a shark, but is there a name for THAT specific type?

  • Aww, sad that it died. But -- I wish you guys would listen to the broadcast -- the creature was already dying. Enough with the racism; the Japanese didn't do anything, she died on her own.

  • ahh its been genetically altered

  • Just goes to show, everything that man touches get destroyed.

  • @LinSauschuck11 Actually it was already dieing. They never come that close to the surface unless they are already dieing. Very few of these have been spotted alive simply because they live in very deep waters, and their eggs can take up to 3 and a half years to hatch.

  • LOL, this looks more like a normal shark with down syndrome...

  • looks like someone pull it from tail and head so it broke its spin

  • see pokemon are real

  • @2935267 lmao

  • @2935267 lolgyrados.wmv

  • @2935267 Well DUH it was found in japan. The next thing there gonna find is godzilla.

  • @2935267 Call Godzilla now .-.

  • It's "odd looking" - but it is absolutely majestic. This creature has been on the earth so much longer than we have. Let's please respect it.

  • Sharks are amazing prehistoric creatures. They started with megaladons and ended up with frill sharks, tiger sharks, ect. They are fascinating creatures that should be both feared but yet respected.

  • mg is it real!? :o

  • my god if it's still alive y the fuck move it it's in a good enviorment so leave it alone what if u were in ur home one day then a giant squid or somthing wlaked up to u and put in a cage ud fucking die DON'T TRANSPORT IT U FUCKTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KYGIRLS3 oh my goodness..calm down, you don't even know the whole situation...just chill... I'm pretty sure it wasn't in its normal habitat, since it lives deep under the ocean, it isn't used to such light pressure. They did say when they found it, it was in critical condition.

  • @KYGIRLS3 If you had payed attention, you would've heard that they are supposed to be at around 600m depth in the ocean. It probably would've died at where it was and it's remains would've been lost. Same thing goes to MrThongbong. Fish that live deep underwater come up to the surface when near death, take the oarfish as an example.

  • thats one ugly %#%^%$&@&$%&*

  • Hey once again people found some thing rare....HEY LETS KILL IT!!! heywhy dont you leave it the fuck alone!!!!! no wonder why things like this are no wear to be found cause if somthings starnge we just kill it

  • Why do you guys feel the need to keep commenting on my comment that I posted ALMOST A YEAR AGO! I realize the creature was near the surface to die/was in the process of dying!

  • this is why they shouldnt breed sharpedo and Gyrados

  • @KhalaR9 lol, pokemone?
