  • she could of gave the baby alittle sponge bath gosh i got scared

  • The baby must be like 6 now o.o

  • @Katrinacool1999 soon to be 7 ;)

  • im sorry to let you know, but most of you are only moms, they are nurses or doctors..and if they are doing that to a newborn is because they can do it and it wont be bad for the baby!! As a mom you know a lot of things, but not as much as nurses or doctors!

  • Please excuse my naiveness here, but isn't the bath a little full for a newborn?

  • awww he is so pissed off lol cute

  • واي وناااسه احلي شي تحمم الياهل

  • What I wring with the fucking nurses at this hospital. You are not supposed to bathe a baby until it is at least 1 week old because the skin is easily damaged. I know this for a fact because I am a mother of 2 and my first child had some of his skin peeled nd he had his first proper bath at 1 week and 5 days!!!

  • @ajitn001 Incorrect. Do a google search or check out some more videos. Babies get cleaned up after birth. Yes when they leave the hospital you don't bathe them for atleast a week, but not right after birth. How else do you think you get all the gooey stuff off the newly born baby.,?

  • How did i get here?

  • @ER7K turn right at the light..

  • Why on earth do you bathe your baby? You should wait atleast 1 week before u give ur baby a bath. And never use soap!! My god...

  • is it bad that this made me laugh?

  • What the hell?

  • Okay, ummm how did I get here from watching funny dogs?:\

  • Leaving water in newborns ears for such time can cause ear infection dumb fuck..

  • haha hes like ha i dont like this 2 sceonds later ok this isnt so bad then she does something else and he cries again so cute

  • Aww cute

  • Awwww poor little thing...bath time is cold.

  • I love the way this baby cries :*:*

  • So cute! My 3 girls got the same bath done at the hospital!

  • :o cute really cute

  • i dont like when it stops crying O_O it scares me

  • aww !!baby is relaxing in a tub lol so sweet

  • I thought the belly button is not supposed to get wet when the child is justt born.. Is there times wen that doesn't apply?

  • @Beautiliciousbaby77 - I have always been told the same thing about the belly button. Matter of fact, I was told not to even bathe my son until the cord fell completely off. He was to have a sponge bath only. Times have changed I guess.. LOL

  • jeez man. Id be like "I've just been on an epic journey through my mothers body. I just wanna sleep dude!"

  • This kid is like 5 years old!

  • That water is too deep it should only be a couple of inches

  • french?

  • @RandomlyChandler oui oui..

  • Its in a hospital. They know what they are doing now stfu

  • Are you supposed to use soap on a new born baby's body?

  • @onidodoonimoimoi it's a very soft soap, and the babay was already more less 3 hours old, so the vernix had time to get absobded by the body

  • So cute... And by the way, this baby was probably born in Canada.

  • look like the baby still wanna be in the water, he feel calm in the basin and even sleeping. so cute...

  • Yeah, NOT giving birth in mexico.

  • so QQQQQQQQ

  • soo cute not even funny

  • Omg that's nurse is mt aunt she is doing the rite thing its warm water its softens its up

  • Wow you are not supposed to get the umblical cord wet!!! Nurses should KNOW that!

  • the baby is so cute I wish I could handle him too!

  • Poor baby. If it's still in the hospital, it definately doesn't need a bath yet.. A wipe down, sure.. But they have no need for one and why put them through that so soon. Sure they enjoy it when they get fully submerged, but that can wait till baby gets home.

  • @cearle28 Cause you r being ridiculous! *eyes rolling*

  • @cearle28 Canada is still part of north america to my knowledge...

  • @yugimtl Yes....North America, but NOT America....It just seems like they are a little rough with them....When I had my daughter, they were very gentle. BUT....I guess I'm a sucker when it comes to babies!

  • @cearle28 And so do you have a special shelf for your daughter that you place her on so she doesn't break into a million pieces? Baby are squeezed through a tight birth canal that is by no means gentle, heck it even contorts the shape of their head yet miraculously they survive! Everything is just better in America isn't that right? Starting with the childhood obesity epidemic to your inferior public health care to your nationwide debt crisis.

  • @mshappyclam Yes...I love America. So should all of the other countries we have to "rescue"..

  • @mshappyclam Of course you take cearle28's comment up the ass. Cause you kno American is better LMAO. I knew it. As soon as i read her comment, which wasen't even bad by the way. I said there will be haters just because it's American and not Japan or something .. Get off our dicks, We already know we are better then you. Oh and your country has a obesity issue you should deal with yourself as well. Along with UK, England, etc. So again hop off OUR dicks. K thanxbye

  • @yugimtl Yes...Maybe North America...Not AMERICA

  • @cearle28 sorry but I think you should revise your geography..... americans call their country by the name of a CONTINENT.... big mistake

  • @mpg895 Why? You knew what / where I was talking about.

  • @cearle28 Cearle28 you shouldn't of said your comment. I kno it wasen't bad and i kno you meant no harm but people have a jealousy issue with US, they wont admit it though. So they took your comment to heart. If you were talking about some random country noone would of even responded but you were talking about the one country people love to hate on, and they can keep hatin, I personally love it.

  • @mpg895 Don't bother talking sense to @cearle28 she's not the sharpest knife in the kitchen if you know what I mean ;)

  • spot on! Canada has amazing healthcare!

  • @cearle28 Probably because you live in America. I live in England, it doesn't scare me but it does feel weird.

  • @cearle28 whats wrong with england?

  • @cearle28 lol it scared me to the way they held it i thought they were gonna drown it or something bc the title says warning.. lol

  • what a sweet video.

  • why is there a warning in the title?

  • @PrincessOTFH lol.. us DAD's.. don't know what to expect.. so this is a little insight to whats coming..

  • @yugimtl a bath lol

  • @PrincessOTFH Because the title should be "Babies First Spanking"

  • 1:34 OH NO I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK IN THERE NOOOO!!!

  • Everything, 1st time is a new experience for the Newborn, so for some Newborn babies, 1st time experiences are unsettling to them.

  • Awww I luv da song of new born babies cryin

  • poor thing didnt want to come into this world

  • @ranoosha1210 watching the news can we blame ???

  • I think you shouldn't wash babies that quick after birth, they aren't dirty (unless they poop in the womb) When you wash babies that quick, the smudge (don't know the english word) on their skin gets washed off, and that stuff is really good for their skin.

  • are you stupid?!?!?!?! you gonna give that baby an infection you sponge bath them until corn falls of and you clean around the cord stump with alcohol pads! omfg! use your heads people!

  • @herpqueen Not where I come from we don't. We bath them as normal from their first bath.

  • @herpqueen - See, I wasn't the only one that thought NO BATHING until cord falls off..sponge bath only...

  • ewwwwwwwww the sound of a baby crying is the worst noise

  • why does a baby always crys when its just born

    ?

  • @CarlaRockz1

Because being born is a traumatic experience. Babies are going from an extremely safe place from where they were never hungry- they had an umbilical cord and they did not need to do anything by themselves. Then all of a sudden they see bright lights (with maybe blurred vision) and it scares them. They use to be in a very tight place and all of a sudden they have tons of room.

  • @boneheaders Oh,.I went on google and it said to clear there air ways.

  • @CarlaRockz1 Babies cry because when they first come out and inhale their first breath of air, their lungs, which have been flat and unused in the womb, sort of pop open.. And that hurts i bet :)

  • @crumblerumble

Actually, neonates do use their lungs in vitro. They inhale and exhale amniotic fluid, most of this is pressed out during delivery. They cry because of a natural reflex triggered by exposure to air (which causes hormornal changes preping for breathing yahda yahda...)

  • @CarlaRockz1 my lil girl didnt want to cry she just wanted to nap

  • @velvetkissesxoxox Lol okay?!?

  • it obviously depends on the guidelines of what country you're in if they put them in water or not!

  • I love how the nurse is being so gentle and considerate to the newborn.

  • for some reson that was the cutiest cry i have evr heard

  • A baby cry is the nicest sound that the world may ever hear!!! So cry as strong as you can baby!!!

  • @jamhiereus

    Yuck...

  • I love the baby crries and cries then you put him back in a womb like scenerio and it goes all quiet. So sweet. But I really didn't think you were suppose to put them in water. This is really not good advice.

  • why did she kill the baby??

  • Aww

  • :) sweet

  • 25 ppl dont want kids

  • he o she crys like my sister

  • nice baby

  • lol omg he is pissed! lol poor little guy, where's his mama when he needs her

  • just pick the kid up geeesh!!!

  • Cute

  • birth is so amazing its hard to believe that thing was just inside a person

  • How cute how the baby stopped crying when he's on the water. Adorable!

  • Good thing Casey Anthony isn't a nurse

  • baby : what is that is that lady hand?? * sigh* its just soap.

Wait wtff, where dey taking me too. ooh snap, im finna be in sum water, HELP!! oh they so SWEEt!!

  • @Jhoods2800 should i think u, where trying to say i was calling him ugly or just ignore you, thats why mine is top comment loser..

  • @jbhallom1 lmfao!

  • @jbhallom1 Dang, they removed your comment and it had like 29 votes!! Must have been the truth!

  • o gosh..!!...its a tough job..newborn babies r too delicate n soft..!!...but nice video

  • so cute

i hope for him good live

  • i think he likes the water! :)

  • That baby has some lungs

  • i would be scared to do that

  • ITS A BOY

  • so i can put the baby in a tub of water n not worry about the cord????!!!

  • @mizztrina2294 You should ask a doctor about it, not get advice from youtube. It likely depends on the way the cord is cut/clamped and many more factors.

  • @MsColdCanada .....awe..ok

  • your supposed to sponge bath the baby until the piece of the chord that is left there falls off, that is how all hospitals will tell you to wash your newborn baby.

  • wtf did i end up here

  • that is thee cutest cry i ever heard!! xD

  • he shure has some lungs him!

  • 2:35 baby looks so relaxed!!! Looks like he's saying "Ahhh, just like that!! I can get used to this!" so cute!!!

  • that's alot of water o:

  • @ApricotFieldsLove I don't think they need that much water either, it's way to much.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwww that's so cute

  • Aaaaaaw he likes the bath :)

  • Whether it's right or wrong or whatever, this lil one is at ease in the water. My first was not so lucky. I was ignorant and 17, when the ass of a doctor Pulled her out of me, gave her to my husband, then the nurses, then my mother...Even tho crying and fully awake, i was the last out of 15 people to hold my first child. The Dr said i was hysterical...but I have 3 nurses statements i was tired from labor and crying to put my baby to my breast ,Alexie has never bonded with me, she is 10 now

  • looks like he's enjoying the bath..cute!!!

  • In the states, the first bath is the only submersed bath. The water depth is to keep the baby from losing it's body temperature.

  • the baby does not like this!!!! Wipe him gently with warm water on the cotton wash cloth and let him BE, why partially submerge him in water?!

    FRUSTRATING

  • @SovereignOfSpice Please have you ever had a kid or researched it before? It mimics the conditions in the womb and therefore that is why the baby stops crying because it feels "At home". and as long as it is above water I see no problem with submersion.

  • @NaturalGroundation Please, I have researched this information, as a matter of fact I'm a RN. Newborns (as is the baby in this video) can have a sponge bath (under the radiant warmer to maintain a neutral thermal environment).

Furthermore, sponge baths are advised for the first 2 weeks after birth or until the cord falls completely off & the umbilicus is healed.

So basically I generally have no problem with a tub bath but in accordance to the above information, safety first, prevent infection.

  • @SovereignOfSpice Are you american? I'm a midwife in Australia, so long as the cord is clamped and dry (>24 hours post delivery) no dramas, bath all the way! If the clamp is insitu there's no greater risk of infection than that of a sponge bath - and the child is less likely to become hypothermic

  • @catiecop Yes, Im American. I see there are different practices, my class was kinda drilled to accept the practice I mentioned before.

  • 18 people think that the baby's mom should hae had an abortion! THOSE PEOPLE SHALL SUFFER SEVERE ASPHYXIATION!!!!

  • I think the baby liked to be in the sink! it stopped crying, poor baby...

  • @cici2963 they say bathing is comforting to newborns because it is familiar- as in the womb they are in a fluid environment. so it makes them feel safe and comforted.

  • awwww so cuteee!

  • Omg, 2 seconds into this video, and I already have a headache... So glad there's a mute button.

  • This was adorable! God bless him!

  • so cute

  • Babies are not encouraged to "breast crawl" here, either. (USA) Right after birth, the baby should be placed on the chest of the mother. Do not wash the vernix off yet. The baby will use his/her feet to push to the nipples of the mother.

I encourage moms to be to look in to allowing their newborns to crawl to the nipple but I know that in US hospitals, they want to rush the baby off right away to measure and such.

  • such a big boy and so handsome congrats

  • In Brazil (where I came from) we bath the babies everyday since they are born. I never heard anything bad about it. They are clean and smell so good, even we put a baby cologne after!!!

So I think in other countries can be different. Sorry, but I gonna bath my baby everyday ( I am 14 weeks pregnant and I live in USA).

  • @minkisbaby dude that baby was just born! Of course they're getting all thr blood and nasty stuff off of him! Lol ewe! They say to spongebathe after the chord has come off but as of now they are in the hospital and those RNs know much more then any of us do!

  • is this how they clean the newborn? I was taught that a infant shouldn't be submersed in a tub full of water until after the cord falls off!

  • @shoujoluvr707 yes this is the way, no trouble in submerging them in water, it actually helps the cord dry out.

  • @yugimtl your actually suppose to give a baby a sponge bath till the stump falls off. if u keep the stump wet how do u expect it to dry up and fall off? ur logic makes no sense. n im glad i wasnt born in this hospital.

  • @yugimtl Nope, you are wrong. It is best to keep it dry to prevent infection. Clean around the belly button with a q-tip. And dry with a q-tip.

  • @shoujoluvr707 a baby shouldn't be washed straight away as it rinses off all the vernix that smells like the mother. Removing it is detrimental to bonding and breastfeeding, and makes babies more unsettled. Unfortunately it's a common practice around most modern hospitals :(

  • Respond to this video... that's what i read too

  • Respond to this video... it's so cute how the baby just kinda doesn't like it at first and then gets quiet because it feels good :) so adorable.

  • @shoujoluvr707 You're right. these people aren't speaking english...most likely they're not in America. I would be shocked to see an American hospital give a newborn a bath...

  • I'd be happier in the water too! It probably feels like the warm comfy place he just came out of. XD

  • @minkisbaby

    Thats disgusting

  • Isn't he a little too young to be having baths.... I thought you don't bathe your newborn until they are a week old

  • @MinkisBaby They're probably cleaning him off after he came out. Sponge baths are a little insufficient for that. It's okay while the cord is still wet anyhow.

  • cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • This video is so therapuetic with a soothed baby and sweet french voices. :)

  • so sad

  • awww he likes the water lol

  • @vanillavsa he does not so y is he crying

  • this vid made me cry but only cause i am a hormonal pregnant women lol

  • So cute!!

    How is he now?

  • @ricoamona3 See for yourself..

he's featured in one my other videos.

  • one way to quieten a baby lol just keep a tub of warm water close by at all times! lol x

  • awww the baby cry brought tears to my eyesss awwwhhh

  • See that HUMAN would be dead if it would of been aborted :(.

  • You shouldn't be giving a new born a bath (in water) until its cord is dyed up and has fallen off.... Just a little FYI to the soon to be moms who has commented before me.

  • @TheGohausmachine keep in mind that the baby was just born and the cord hasn't even started to dry yet, so in this case it's ok. But what you said is true once you take your baby home. Only sponge baths until the cord falls out.

  • @TheGohausmachine i was thinking the same thing. i thought sponge baths for the first few weeks.
