Play an easier game if you want to. I'm glad there are games that present a challenge. dealing with world tendencies is a hassle, especially since the level is hard already and you could die trying to repeat something. That makes death something you really try hard to avoid, and makes the game a more rewarding experience.

World Tendency is a hassle, not becuz it punishes players for playing badly but rather, it locks certain events / items away. It's a convoluted and archaic means of adding "depth" and "variety" to the game.

First, world tendency locks nothing out. It's not that difficult to manipulate. Character tendency is much more of a lockout, but you can just plan our what kind of character you want to me (kill every NPC?) and let the chips fall where they may. It's not like most normal gamers intend to collect 100% of the items. It's not simple, but I think calling it convoluted is silly. The world doesn't have to be laid open instantly. I like it.

was trying to get a Colorless Demon's Soul so i could dupe it and upgrade all my weapons that need em, dont listen to the wikki if it tells you you can reload the game and they're back if they dont drop a soul, i tried it, loaded and it was gone anyway.

how to have PBWT: Use a stone of ephemeral eyes and then kill yourself, repeat 3 times and then return to the nexus. DONE !

Gimme a quote, O Living DS Wiki, so that I may worship the very ground you walk on. I'm not sure what kind of fantasy world you live in, but in reality, I've only had to die 4 times (from pure white) to get to Pure black. Period. No PB+? bullcrap. And in addition, black is when (most) black phantoms come out (such as the skeletons in 4-1) and pure black is when the real deal (aside from St. Urbain's BP) black phantoms and the primeval demons come out. Trust me.  I've played the game enough.

Actually, you don't. Primevals appear at 1 'level' higher than Pure Black. The only exception to this is the one in Shrine of Storms, who appears 2 levels higher.

I'm on my NG+. I've killed all primevals in the original run. They appear at -3 WT (PB is -4), believe me. I've had instances where I've seen the primevals but not the BP NPCs (which appear at -4).

THATS WAT THY AREE.. i killed one of those in the the shrine of storms. the second archstone.. but i killed it with my bow cuz i had no idea how to get where it was.. i saw it dropped an item but i couldnt get it :(.. and how the freakk do you get the boss demon's werapones??? (i.e the phalanax's spear, old hero's blade, etc..)

@TheCorekilla did you kill it from were the dw black skelly is outside on his own? if so theres a path there up to primeval demon i didnt notice it at first too theres a crystal liz on the path as well and a bow and arrows at top i think

had white WT in this archstone / killed Miralda (human form) / died 4 times for black WT / killed BP Miralda ran all the way to Primeval Demon / used Warding and Light Weapon (just in case :P) / killed the Primeval Demon BUT I DIDNT GET ANY COLOURLESS DEMON SOUL!!!

@lzckk the fact that primeval demons drop the colourless demon souls has nothing to do with the rest of the things that you did, perhaps it was a glitch of some sort. Try with another Primeval demon and dupe that one since you already earned it =D

kinda unrelated, but how does the gate open at 1-1? i had it opened right away in my first playthrough, but now it continues to stay locked. any help?

? ? ? so ive had black wold tendancies in this stage for ages & still unable to get the primevil demon to show his face, do i need to kill the 2 black phantom clowns first for this to appear, or is it just strictly once the world tendancy is black ? ? ?

make sure you are "pure black" and not just a shade of black

if you have killed all the bosses in this world then you can´t get pure black tendency.... and to get the black tendency you don´t need to kill anyone in order, just get the black tendency killing yourself, then go to the nexus and return and so on, ´till the stone of this world (in the menu) is completely black.
