thank you so very much for posting this...nona hendryx inspired me to write, when i bought the "phoenix" album by labelle back then as a 13 year old....to me, she is one of the most astonishing artists, very versatile, innovative, authentic, no one to follow a trend, either someone who CREATES trends....
and whether she is a DIKE or not (as far as i know, she is bisexual), it simply doesn't matter. i love her as an artist anyway

a beautiful black lady dressed in black leather. i thought "wow, that could be some cool MOTHERS FINEST stuff".never expected this electronic-disco-stuff. but love this song tho.

Nona Hendryx should redo this song. "Girls will be Boys. Boys, they like their toys." I can't believe she is a dike.
