  • As a Disabled former SF'er im glad to see some good press HOOOOYYYAAA

    TSGT White

  • YO THAT WAS MY SQUAD!!!!!! LOL AWESOME MSGT Flemming was AWESOME!!! omg i miss that team!!!!

  • @odlid1985 we did combat patrols 4 days a week and then QRF for two days. We were shot at, found multiple IEDs and were also hit by IEDs so shut the hell up because you don't know what your talking about.

  • Maybe this was already said but this video was shot in Iraq not Afghanistan as its stated above. I was on this deloyment. Lion 1-3 represent!

  • im prior service security forces so i am glad to see some of our training comming into play, but lets be honest here gents, MOST of us past, present and future SF will never get to do this. These guys are lucky/unlucky to be givin this oportunity. I voulunteered for every deployment i could just never got lucky enough for it. Keep up the good work and lets prove to the nay sayers we can get it done.

    Defensor Fortis HUA

  • every military vid. i watch always has some dumbass kids talking shit of whos better and they wont ever make it in the military ...and being in a branch doesnt decide if ur stong or not its all on u cuz theres tough people in every branch ...ima be in Security Forces...i go in september for BMT and should be done with tech school by jan or somewhere around there and try to specialize in something like sniper after

  • Security Forces outside the wire! What has the military come to?

  • since when does QRF conduct combat patrols? isn't their sole purpose to respond quickly when actual combat patrols are engaged. as a security forces member who has been blessed with multiple legitimate combat tours it always turns my stomach to see others in my career field hype up what they do.

  • @odlid1985 since being proactive was better than being reactive

  • it seems like SF carry less gear than army infantry.

  • @350z350zify

ofcourse lol! there not infantry dor! lol xP there security!

but...i kinda see wat ur getting at. =]

  • This is becoming ridiculous every time I come to see one of my brothers tribute videos there is someone ripping on my branch, and the sad part is most of the people doing the trash talk arent even military their just fan boys who hope to become military one day and let me tell you guys something almost the first thing you will learn in the armed services is respect no it WILL be the first thing you learn does not matter who their fighting for as long as the red white and blue then they fight 4 U

  • @360floflyer like what you say

  • @360floflyer were all brothers. and brothers like to pick on each other

  • @360floflyer totally agree, my brother is air force and i plan on joining in a year and i come on these vids and every1 talkin trash about how bad and weak the air force is. i bet every1 talkin crap are 12 year old COD fans who play as navy seals and marines in the game when they dont know shit about the real military

  • @360floflyer damn call of duty fan boys

  • Oh yeah bt w the 332 is in balad iraq not afghanistan! The guard is also trained and equiped.

  • Oh yeah bt w the 332 is in balad iraq not afghanistan!

  • i've been out in the missle field for over a year glad i got orders oversea's so i'll actually get a chance for a deployment. Actually thrilled

  • I believe that SF is going to be the next combat job in the Air Force besides pararescue and combat control... and finally women get to be in a combat job =) This is one of the many reasons why I'm joining security forces

  • @ddifioreUSAF it already is a combat job. thats why we're refered to as Warrior Airmen, along with CCT, PJ, TACP, and SERE. and yes women can be Security Forces. Were just split into 3 parts now. You have Police, Security Guards, and Expeditionary.

  • @Marynicole830 Dont listen to Ezek1122, he didn't pay attention during tech school but for the rest of us, we have plenty of training and see plenty of action. If you get stuck stateside you may get shit jobs but I'd recommend it. And @richards19706 we are trained for that shit. The Guard is not. We don't need you to hold our hand, we can hold our own. And if you think we're pussies then either you've never seen us fight or seen an experienced SF Airman fight. You do your job, we'll do ours.

  • @SFairman100

the guard is trained. my husband is in the Army National Guard and when he went over, he didn't do his MOS. he did convoy security. but he spent 4 months training to be a gunner n a Mrap. He was very well prepared when he went over.

  • @Marynicole830 like I said, theyre trained, theyre just not meant to be deployed, but theyve been doing it more and more and the worst part? they send them and the reserve in to occupy the enemy before the main Army can get there, its bullshit (Pardon the language). like SF, we werent supposed to be infantry, but here we are. and thats strange, the army leaves most convoy security to us now. and I didnt mean any kind of offense to you or your husband. My apologies if I did offend you

  • They are meant to deploy, just not be the main occupying force, which is what they are doing now.I see what your saying though. In fact, since 2001,my husbands unit has been training on overtime and is the best artillery Guard unit and is one of the largest in the country.BUT when they were sent, they were not doing what they were trained to do.Plus, they were charged with being the lead unit where they were at,and Guard isn't meant for that. they are a supplement force, not an occupying force.

  • @SFairman100 Bro I was with you all the way until you said the guard isn't trained. Aside from that comment you hit the nail on the head! Now not trying to put words in your mouth, but were you meaning to same the vast majority of guardsmen YOU have seen don't come off as having that kind of training? There are some guardsman I have seen that can do this job better than 3-4 AD folks at the same time. Flip side, I have seen 2-3 ADs run a job that it would take 5-6 Guardsman. Point is, it depends.

  • @SuperWarking Dont get me wrong, they are trained, but thats not what they were "Initially" meant for. They were meant to be a national "GUARD", to defend America back home, not deploy to hostile areas. But your right, it depends on the situation AND the person. You may have one guy whos a pussy and another right next to him that fights like 1F Recon. but a lot has changed, its like the Security forces. We were meant to be military police, and no offense to MPs, just better trained but look now.

  • Haha damn straight to the guy below me. Our sister branches should really do their homework before running their mouths. We just as much as the Army. Don't believe me? Do some research and get that stupid stereotyping shit out of your heads. The guys in this video don't really catch the blunt of the action that most SF in Iraq or Afgan do. We fight and we win, all there is to it.

  • To Richard19706, here again we hear the ignorance of our sister services. Son we have been doing this type of work in the USAF since the Vietnam War. I spent 8yrs of my career wearing camy on my face and sleeping in the dirt just as much if not more than some Army or Marine Grunts. You really ought to find out what is going on in other services before you open your mouth. Old SP

  • Comment removed

  • @JustAnotherSoldier1 Huh, thats wierd. I just read your comments on the "funny Marine checkpoint" video and you were going on and on about CCT and saying you lived with SEALs and Green Beretes...care to explain?

  • BTW if you want to join the military and get some REAL cation dont join AF SF, were basically like the worst trained it seems and like you hear on most these posts, the true danger missons are few and far inbetween, your attitude would be better suited for something like the army infantry or marines. Meet too many ppl in SF who hate what they do because of this.

  • @Ezek1122

the only problem with that is the Infantry doesn't accept women. The Air Force offers more combat-related jobs to women that the others. Like Aerial Gunner and Security Forces.

  • @Ezek1122 everyone is trained properly for there branch and there job but sometimes people send them out to do things that they "shouldnt do" and thats how my friend in the national guard died, and I knew that was going to happen, I found out the day after chillin with my Recon buddies, no guy should join the Air Force or the Navy if they think they want to do infintry at some point in there life, I hate when people get put into a job they didnt sign up for, it gets others killed too

  • SF wears ACU's (army uniforms) over the wire?

  • @dfitch1987 no they wear abu's its the new airforce uniform.

  • @spymode1 I know. Those uniforms have hook and loop on the selves where the AF wears their stripes. I probably won't go till next year,so I don' know first hand but the cops in my squadron wear their ABUs in theater.

  • @dfitch1987 yeah, im looking at joining sf this fall. ive lost 40 lbs so far and am losing 160 overall to make it in.

  • @spymode1 Good luck to ya, put a be sure to maintain a a focus on physical fitness, The AF is tightening its belt both figuratively and literally. The new PT test happens twice a year with automatic failure if one doesn't meet standards in any category.

  • @dfitch1987 When you deploy and work with Army, or do SF duties in place of MPs, the Army issues you a lot of gear, ACU included.

  • @glock19x300 I'm actually getting ready for my training at Fort Bliss with my fellow SF brretheren before we go to Afghan, we've been told our mission is basically gonna involve us being with OSI outside the wire the whole time, we're also going to be issued completely different uniforms during our training, are they going to be the same thing? no one seems to know about it at my squadron.

  • @Ezek1122 most likely it will be multi cam.

  • Great job guys! God Bless you and thanks for your service, you make us all proud!

Dan Sgt, USAF Security Police 1984-1988

  • This isnt in afganistan, Its outside of balad, Iraq. I was apart of this unit last year, lion 1-4. And we as cops are getting tasked more to do these missions. But if you think this is what all deployments are gonna be like they are generally few a far between. A typical deployment for cops is going to a base for LE mission or sitting on a gate or in a tower. Thankfully havent had to do that and hopefully wont have to.

  • Before you enlist for the Air Force... get your Associates Degree from a College... as you will need it to go up in Rank. Also, when you enter the USAF, with College Degree, you will get fast rank advance and be able to freeze your college loan payments as you wish.

  • @WhatGodNow Promotion in the Air Force has to do with your time in service, time since last promotion, and your WAPS score. It has little to do with having a degree.

  • fuck..befor you decide to join ,what the recruiters dont say is that USAF security forces dont all deploy you can get stuck as a k9 police,or a prison guard which eleminates all the the action, instead you end up getting stuck in texas playing with dogs and computers,so just in case sign prior service.

  • who are you? you don't get "stuck" as k9 or confinement. Those are pretty much only on a volunteer basis.

  • Can't wait 'til graduation.... i'm enlisting!!!!

  • Same here man. 5 more months of HS though.

  • @fireadept007 cool.....

  • sign up now man, i waited till i graduated and i had to wait nearly a year! i only have 2 weeks to go till boot! im excited dood

  • What they need is you to get the hell out of their country. Oh and thanks for the chemtrails

  • This is awesome. I was on the Advance (ADVON) team and helped stand up this squadron last summer. Good to see they're getting some recognition.

  • Well some Air Force AFC's wear ACU's in country. EOD used to wear them but they now have ABU's which are modified to have velcro on the arms with the US flag/the tiny rank you put on the gortex and on the opposite arm is the EOD tape and the army unit they are assigned to. I even saw CE wear acu's.

  • Ha yeah I know now I leave in march 2010

  • Let me start out that i was in the security forces and when we do deploy we do get ACUs it has nothing to with our uniforms it is because we deploy with a army unit. I was deployed and we did wear the ABUs. A lot of the SF members do go outside the wire. We do a lot of stuff that we have never done before. This guy is right our job is changing. DEFENSOR FORTIS

  • About what percent of usaf security forces will go outside the wire? I plan on signing up for this job so I'm just curious to c what my chances r. someone reply please!

  • Its getting to the point that we all are! So if its not something you want to do then pick a new AFSC. If your recruiter told you that will not be doing convoys and going out side the wire he lied to you!

  • Thats not a problem at all! I plan on joining once my ticket clears... but if theres any tips or things i should know about this job please message me thanx

  • the air force wears ACU in the combat theatre because the current uniform is not flame retardant.

  • actually we wear digital tiger striped camo

  • Yes air force has worn the ACU. Depending on when this was taken that could have been because they had not received the ABS-G yet.

  • Which Unit is that? as far as i know 820th is the only SF Group that normalt goes "outside the wire"

  • Comment removed

  • @ Knight9112

The 532nd and 732nd goes outside the wire too.

  • This is not the air force

  • What makes you so sure?

  • Airmen do NOT wear ACUs. I am in the Air Force.

  • SO your completely sure its not possible? I wouldn't know for sure, I think its unusual for Airmen being outside the wire, but still

  • look closely they are wearing patches on their arms. In the Air force we only wear our ranks on our arms, and we wear ABUs. No ACUs

  • but the PJs might wear those

  • They are wearing ACUs because the USAF uniform is not for combat. There is no purpose to the AF uniform other than a general liking the colors to be different.

  • Yep you're right. Those are the PJs....

  • SWAT518, depending on what unit the AF SF are assigned to, they will wear the ACU. Primarily because the Flame Retardant ACU is more available then the newer ABU ones. Most outside the wire AF are wearing tan nomex flight suits, but there are plenty of AF joes rocking ACU in the AOR.

  • air force wearing ACUs?

  • i leave for BMT december 15th for Security forces! any one else leave then?

  • Stay away from SF at all costs.

  • That cool who leaves Nov17 i enlist on the Oct29

and i hope i leave in Nov but i wont know when i can leave until my enlistment.

  • ill tell you one thing u aint leaving any time this year cuz i enlisted june 6th and i leave for basic training December 8th and my recruiter said i was lucky to leave that soon

  • i enlisted a whole month later and booked yah date =)

  • dam u gotten real lucky then but guss what we have less than 2 months 2 go and were gonna be at lackland

  • no ive been to robins afb and dobins afb in GA i come from a house SF people

  • @ CrAzEdAiRmEn

Hey I leave for BMT on Dec 8th for SF too!

  • word ????

  • I leave nov 17 for basics. going for sf too!

  • I just got security forces in my contract i leave december 15th for basic im excited!

  • if you dont mind, can you tell me a little about what your recruiter told you about USAF SF? I am actually torn between whether to join the Air Force or the Army. I have another 12 months to decide as i plan to ship out on my 23rd birthday. What interests me about USAF SF is the fact that i can get training to be a sniper, airborne, raven squad etc. all while being a cop at the same time. I just think this career is bad ass. You are gonna be apart of history my friend. Good luck, stay safe.

  • my recruiter didnt have to influence me too much i did most of the research on my own i was in your boat too torn between army MP and USAF SF. Your right about all the training you can get wit the USAF SF's did u kno u could be K9 handler also and be a security forces. In general the air force has better living facilities and better everything all around and they treat their people better as well. Also Secuity forces deploy for 6 month at a time while army MP's spend 12-15 months deployed
