The Rock has some serious genetics, i'm surprised his football career didn't go further. Samoan and Black is pretty powerful combo. If there were more Samoans on the planet, by percentage, they would dominate the NFL. There are only 65k or so American Samoans, 50 play in the NFL, over 200 play Div I. Crazy.

i happened to stay at the same motel as atlas in '84. he was signing in with several other wrestlers, so i was reluctant to strike up a conversation and have regretted it ever since. he definitely was an imposing presence, and even in dress trousers his butt was awesome :).
