omg i officially feel old lol, Loved how they always showed the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and or Sixers in the intro. geez i cant beleive how times fly, kelly green jerseys, Mellon PSFS, very old news board, flyers n sixers at the spectrum, and the great Gary Papa. Miss those days.

Robin Garrison must not have lasted much longer at WPVI...definitely in at KSAZ Phoenix by early 1996 and then probably out by 1999 or 2000. (Aside from Robin Garrison leaving and Kari Lake arriving, KSAZ's 9pm-10pm news team has remained steady since the mid-late 1990s! Can't say that about any other stations here...)

David Boreanaz is the spinning image of his father, it's almost spooky! Marc Howard on ABC! Where the heck I was I to see that one! That dude is sooooooo on CBS now! But the part I almost cried at was when Gary Papa did his little sports bit. He was so energetic and happy about it to. Sports will never be the same way without him...

It is with sadness that I report that Gary Papa lost his valiant five-year fight against prostate cancer today (June 19, 2009).

He will be missed by millions in the Delaware Valley.

Yes. And Gary Papa and Dave Roberts are still on WPVI. Marc Howard retired last November.
