"Many wives" clearly proves: (1) The person can have multiple wives,but not too much; and (2)It doesn't limit mrriage to only one wife. I don't know where do u see the verse limiting mrriage to only one wife. Also,this verse is only talkng abt kings,or more accurately one lone incident abt one king.

His later marriages were for various reasons. Some marriages were with the view to help the women whose husbands had been killed while they were defending their faith. It contains few authentic teachings. Which ever matches with Quran I believe them to be true.

And regarding the Tashkent MSS translation, you have to ask the translator why he made the mistake. If I say 2+2=5 then its my mistake but it will not make the sum 5. Refer the Arabic Quran which is in true form. Translators are humans can make mistake. But unlike other religions we have original book.

"Many wives" clearly proves: (1) The person can have multiple wives,but not too much; and (2)It doesn't limit mrriage to only one wife. I don't know where do u see the verse limiting mrriage to only one wife. Also,this verse is only talkng abt kings,or more accurately one lone incident abt one king.

And also Exodus 21:10 allows a man to marry an infinite amount of women without any limits to how many he can have.

She remained the only wife of the prophet for the next 25 years, until she died (may Allah be pleased with her). His later marriages were for various reasons. Some marriages were with the view to help the women whose husbands had been killed while they were defending their faith. Othrs were with a view to cement relationships with devoted followers like Abu Bakr(r.a).

The Koran 37:103 reads "they had both submitted their wills (became Muslims)" while the Arabic text of the Tashkent MSS gives the exact opposite meaning, "they did not submitted their wills" (they did NOT become Muslims.) how do you explain this given there are supposed to be no errors?
