Now I'm making laminated horse-bows but If I will have the right materials and knowledge I will start to make bows out of wood sinew and horn!
@CorneliuList You didn't offend me! :) I just don't really understand you. I think we are on the same side. We booth love Kyudo. I think that Kyudo not really about efficiency or not even accuracy, but meditation and beatuful perfect movement. Maybe I'm wrong.

勝手の脇がしまらないのは筋肉に任せて引き下ろしをしているから。
分け弓になってない。
まあ、あたることは当たるが、弓術をしているのに力任せに引いたのではアーチェリーと変わらない。
ちなみに頬付けが高いのは日置流だから。
全日弓のは本多流がベースだから頬付けが上唇になり、大三をとる。
本当の弓が引きたければ流派道場に通うべき

口割ではなく、頬付です。日置流ですから。頬骨の下で良いんです。
日置流を知らないで頬付が高いっていう人多いんですよね。
僕からすればその人にあった位置であれば頬骨の下から唇の間ならどこでもいいと思います。顔の縦に長い人短い人等々、骨格があるのですから。

日置流印西派の浦上系という流派の射法の特徴です。
因みに低い姿勢で射っている乙矢は"坐射"ではなく、割膝(跪射)といいます。
