Now about the helicopter....this truly is a fantastic machine and my favorite Heli I like this better than our own Apache. The coaxial design is more efficient as all your power goes toward the lift. Tail rotar helis use about 10% of power just to stabalize via the tail rotar.

The value of the dollar is no longer declining. As I said, China has NO choice, USA will not sell China our technology. India buys Russian tech because it is cheap and due to India's large population they need quantity over quality. In the end technology wins the battle. It is very inaccurate to compare ka-50 and apache, since they are different (it would be more equal to compare mi-28 and apache for instance). First of all, hokum is a single seat, apache is a double seat. Hokum is not created for head-on assaults like the apache, hokum is much more maneuverable and stable. Hokum is younger than apache (apache was created in '75, and it entered service '86. Hokum entered service in '95.
@kaktuscar86 Who really cares about this helicopter? How many does RUS have less than 50? How many Mi-28s less than 100. US has roughly 1500 operational and battle ready Apaches. Russias entire helicopter force including EVERYTHING is still less than the number of Apaches, not even including any of our other platforms. Russia's air power is a relic and shell of its former self. The modern battlefield is ruled by US and coalition forces along with 170 battle operational F-22s.

So when you activate the radar on your S400 and its within range of air to ground units a missile acquires the radar signature origin and fires an ASM missile within 3-4 seconds. Then when your S400 shuts off its radar the missile has already acquired the coordinates and trajectory via GPS. Even the best SAM crews cant pack up and relocate in faster than 45-60 seconds which is the time it takes for the missile to annihilate a 100 yard target radius.
@SickKnowledge82 Even so, the aircraft would have to get into range to fire the missile. Which still gets us back to the range of a staggering 400km. Maybe if you used satellites, and then the GPS missile. But that would be a very tiresome job, and prone to decoys.

Be careful there. GDP should illustrate the productivity of a nation. SO US GDP is not very illustrative of the actual state of US economy. Take into account that a huge portion of GDP stems from finance, which in effect produces nothing new. Most of money generated is based on speculation. US economy is very sensitive, as we have seen, and big corruption in the system is draining it. Going from world's greatest economy, it is now in shambles, with such a high debt load, that its absurd trying to put it into context. US depends on communist countries for funding!
Russian technology is some of the best in the world. The fact that you believe in propaganda is something else. After all, if what you are saying is true, US would have taken care of Russia a long time ago, and would not have wasted quadrillions on weapons and such. Look at the aerospace industries of the two. Black Shark and Alligator are indeed very powerful weapon and gorgeous in all of its parameters. But they are available only in small batches. As the mass of a vane in Russia made Mi-28 Ravager and a modification of the Mi-28N Night Hunter, who should replace the obsolete Mi-24 Crocodile. Ka-50 and Ka-52 is designed to perform a particularly important missions. Combat use of the Black Shark in Chechnya has been very effective about this I was told eyewitnesses.

Well enough of the bickering between Russia and America especially you Tropickman. I happen to be american but speak, read and write Russian. Truly a beautiful language I will going there in a month. Now about the helicopter....this truly is a fantastic machine and my favorite Heli I like this better than our own Apache. The coaxial design is more efficient as all your power goes toward the lift. Tail rotar helis use about 10% of power just to stabalize via the tail rotar.

The value of the dollar is no longer declining. As I said, China has NO choice, USA will not sell China our technology. India buys Russian tech because it is cheap and due to India's large population they need quantity over quality. In the end technology wins the battle. No matter how fast a plane is it cannot outrun a missile, USA radar technology gives the ability to engage a target before it is even in sight. Our planes have better stealth capability, so we have first strike capabilities.

It is very inaccurate to compare ka-50 and apache, since they are different (it would be more equal to compare mi-28 and apache for instance). First of all, hokum is a single seat, apache is a double seat. Hokum is not created for head-on assaults like the apache, hokum is much more maneuverable and stable. Hokum is younger than apache (apache was created in '75, and it entered service '86. Hokum entered service in '95.

Russias entire helicopter force including EVERYTHING is still less than the number of Apaches, not even including any of our other platforms. Russia's air power is a relic and shell of its former self. The modern battlefield is ruled by US and coalition forces along with 170 battle operational F-22s.

So when you activate the radar on your S400 and its within range of air to ground units a missile acquires the radar signature origin and fires an ASM missile within 3-4 seconds. Then when your S400 shuts off its radar the missile has already acquired the coordinates and trajectory via GPS. Even the best SAM crews cant pack up and relocate in faster than 45-60 seconds which is the time it takes for the missile to annihilate a 100 yard target radius.

Be careful there. GDP should illustrate the productivity of a nation. Please take into account that USA is one of the very few nations which includes all funds circulated through its PRISON/CORRECTIONAL systems in its GDP, just as well as through healthcare. The armor is impregnable, the guns are powerful, its highly mobile, its lethal. Its incredible what it takes to destroy the Abram, let alone against multiple tanks. In other words, if you come up against a few of these, you're fucked.
