I do know the US is not going into hyperinflation just by past history. We made adjustments. The Fed moves the interest rate so many percentages higher and it increases unemployment.

Don't know how we get around government healthcare. I belive greed and the refusal to cover everyone will run private business out of health care. There is no way we can continue letting them raise rates to the levels they are! It's sucking up money we need to pay down debt. Florida got around gov. healthcare by negotiating with the health insurance companies. In doing so, premiums dropped and everyone can afford it. There are ways of doing it without the gov. If we were allowed to buy healthcare beyond our state lines, that would open up the market and increase competition. There are 1300 healthcare agencies out there, that would give us plenty of low-cost choices. Relying on the gov for our everyday needs will not help this country.

I'm certain Health Insurance Companies will pop up to offer AA and AAA packages above government health coverage. From my exposure to doctors, the less, the better. They're good when you break bones, have big gashes, burns, get shot, delivering babies, etc. I'm not a fan of radiation and chemo for cancer. Something minor can have you taking pills that make you sicker than a dog or even kill you! I believe a lot of Doctors are crooked! I believe they make you sicker on purpose.

I'd like to see the government compete with car companies. If they can't build a better environmental car than the government at an economical price, they deserve to go bust! That would get us closer to full employment by letting America make car parts and assemble cars.

Doctors are not interested in healing you! They treat only the symptoms and do it until new symptoms appear from that medicine. I'd tie a tax on doctors depending how many people get sicker from their services collectively across the nation. That way, when you go to get a second opinion they won't be running cover for each other. A whole lot can be avoided with full employment. The failure of the welfare was people sitting at home drawing a check, perpetuating poverty. We should tweak the system to full employment that has a living wage enough to raise a family. It will call for subsidizing jobs. It's more efficient to subsidize jobs than pay for prisoners! Your "outsourcing jobs" comment. I agree 100%. We are a big enough country to have our own economy. International Corporations outsourcing jobs and Globalism is a fucking disaster if not treasonous. I can remember in my early 20's when I started my first business I had the good fortune to do land a couple contracts at Chrysler and the culture in the UAW was laughable I predicted along time ago they would fail.

It's hard to argue with workers who are constantly threatened with layoffs, shorted on manpower to deliver a certain number of trucks like at Kenworth where I worked. It was a animal house. A FREAKING WAR! It would be pointed out that CEO's were making millions extra and they refused to give us a raise to keep up with the cost of living. No body wants to walk backwards after they've established certain comforts and financial commitments.
The answer to getting more trucks could have been solved with a compromise of more workers and 1-3 $/hr extra/truck over 21 wanted. They cost over $80,000 and $130,000. About 1,000 workers to produce a truck every 30 minutes. That's about $1,500/extra truck at $3/hr extra pay!
Not shut down KC and increase production in Denton Texas and Mexico! Not surprise most of it is in China or India today. The government is now buying soldiers and bringing in whole families to push Americans aside!

I do believe there was a misstep in bailing out home owners the way we did. I think having the banks give them back what they paid since the configuration can hardly be considered legal. Flat tax- pay 20 percent on my $65,000 salary=13000. You pay 20 percent on your 400,000 salary 80,000 you pay more you make more. That would be "fair".
A consumption tax IMO would be the most logical in that it promotes savings or if you are wealthy and want to live large then you pay more and save less.
The "graduated" tax of I pay 20 percent $13000 and you are "graduated to a new "bracket" of 40% you pay 160,000 that is social engineering and punishes success.

I do know the US is not going into hyperinflation just by past history. We made adjustments. The Fed moves the interest rate so many percentages higher and it increases unemployment.

People who can't usually have too many bills at the fault of their own. At $13 an hour I have a modest home, car, and am in the process of paying off credit cards.Its all in how we manage our money. Florida got around gov. healthcare by negotiating with the health insurance companies. In doing so, premiums dropped and everyone can afford it. There are ways of doing it without the gov. If we were allowed to buy healthcare beyond our state lines, that would open up the market and increase competition. There are 1300 healthcare agencies out there, that would give us plenty of low-cost choices. Relying on the gov for our everyday needs will not help this country.

I'm certain Health Insurance Companies will pop up to offer AA and AAA packages above government health coverage. From my exposure to doctors, the less, the better. They're good when you break bones, have big gashes, burns, get shot, delivering babies, etc. I'm not a fan of radiation and chemo for cancer. Something minor can have you taking pills that make you sicker than a dog or even kill you! I believe a lot of Doctors are crooked! I believe they make you sicker on purpose.

Doctors are not interested in healing you! They treat only the symptoms and do it until new symptoms appear from that medicine. It's how people end up with 7-10 medications and one can kill you or it interacts with one of the others or builds up in your system and kill you or make you so sick you're layed up in the hospital incurring a mountain of debt! You should be able to get a video tape and record of everything they say and do while in their office. They need watchdogs!

That way, when you go to get a second opinion they won't be running cover for each other. I don't like pharmacudical companies, I'm more of a holistic believer. I agree whole-heartidly the those companies make shit that treats just the symptoms and not the issues. I don't blame the doctors for that though. Stimulus money has been used to pay off people that got obama into office.(Acorn, GE...etc) and is full of pork spending. If Obama hits you with taxes or the rich pass their tax cost to you, I suggest a system to stop those dynamics!
I'd tax them so much higher that if they passed the tax costs it would hurt their business and allow for smaller businesses to take a bigger bite of the pie. Our problem to a large extent is virtual monopolies dictating policy by lobbying congress and polarizing America to get their way! They inhibit competition and lower their taxes which means we pay and they get richer!

Fact is, a government option is worth considering for the whole economy! It's a good idea to have government fund a few companies to control destructive threats of big business if they don't get their way! You've got to believe this whole high unemployment thing is in large part, at this point, big business tightening the screws on Obama with job cuts to continue Bush tax cuts! I always thought those people were never meant to keep their homes. It was just another scheme by Bush to fund the wars! The homes return to the banks and they do it all over again!
I do believe the homes should not have been bailed out the way Obama is doing it. He should have bought them up at 1/3 price from banks and worked out payments with the same buyers. No reason the banks should be rewarded for their scam!

I am unabashedly against exploitation of labor to the point of creating poverty! There is no real reason for it! Just as a system can be managed to create rich people holding sway over a nation, a system can be managed to accommodate all its people with zero poverty, and virtually no National Debt. The burden is greatest on the middle class to pay for prisons and police. We're so short of police that gangs are taking over whole communities. A whole lot can be avoided with full employment. The failure of the welfare was people sitting at home drawing a check, perpetuating poverty. We should tweak the system to full employment that has a living wage enough to raise a family. It will call for subsidizing jobs. It's more efficient to subsidize jobs than pay for prisoners! It's paid for by taxing the rich more. Not likely to take over 60% after $500,000. That 60% can fluctuate lower depending on subsidized jobs needed!

1. Capital risks $ on the entrepreneur.
2. The entrepreneur innovates and begins a business.
3. The business creates JOBS.
4. The jobs and the product benefit society.
5. Capitalist gets a return.
This is how Capitalism is supposed to work. It has proved to be the fairest of all economic systems.

It's hard to argue with workers who are constantly threatened with layoffs, shorted on manpower to deliver a certain number of trucks like at Kenworth where I worked. It was a animal house. A FREAKING WAR! It would be pointed out that CEO's were making millions extra and they refused to give us a raise to keep up with the cost of living. The answer to getting more trucks could have been solved with a compromise of more workers and 1-3 $/hr extra/truck over 21 wanted. They cost over $80,000 and $130,000. About 1,000 workers to produce a truck every 30 minutes. That's about $1,500/extra truck at $3/hr extra pay!
Not shut down KC and increase production in Denton Texas and Mexico! Not surprise most of it is in China or India today. The government is now buying soldiers and bringing in whole families to push Americans aside!

The inherent problem we face is in times past the Capitalist and entrepreneur were held accountable if they failed and they still are in the case of small business. No one is going to bail my ass out if my 2 businesses fail. I would have to sell my home, car, and move in a relatives basement I know that. That is how I choose to live.

I have to think that if we had not bailed the banks out, we'd have a bigger mess than we have now. I'd like to hear the alternative. I do believe there was a misstep in bailing out home owners the way we did. I think having the banks give them back what they paid since the configuration can hardly be considered legal. It was wrong in so many ways. That way, the banks get the houses back and have to make a deal with the government to buy them dirt cheap. Nothing much is getting done!

Flat tax- pay 20 percent on my $65,000 salary=13000. You pay 20 percent on your 400,000 salary 80,000 you pay more you make more. That would be "fair".
A consumption tax IMO would be the most logical in that it promotes savings or if you are wealthy and want to live large then you pay more and save less.
The "graduated" tax of I pay 20 percent $13000 and you are "graduated to a new "bracket" of 40% you pay 160,000 that is social engineering and punishes success.

I read your posts and although we fundamentally disagree on the underlying problem you make some good points and I appreciate intelligent debate. I will try to take your points one by one.

act equally for the good of the people and are a social contract agreed to by the people for equal protection. They are not designed to either uplift or bring down any particular group. It could be argued they have been unequal and I am 100% for correcting problems when found. This is not "Socialism" it is governance. I think we can agree governance is a necessity. "if all men were angels...." well you know the rest.

We very much disagree because once a government is established, it's a social entity! Especially when it start collecting taxes!
It sounds good to say everyone is benefiting equally from institutions such as the military, police forces, fire departments, schools, etc. But not address the basic needs of people subjected to capitalism which is based on making profits on INEQUALITY. Every hour of work does not get the same pay! When it creates people in need, taxes are the proper way to fix it!

I think capitalism is a great system to determine the value of skills and education. However, you've got businesses making profits on basic needs at prices targeted for the greater population which leave a great number at the bottom in need of assistance.
Minimum wages were established to give small businesses a chance to make a profit. When McDonald's and others makes billions, it's also governance to support the cheap labor that pumps profits and unemployment created.

Reagan came in took Jimmy Carter's huge unemployment rate and 18% interest rates and lowered unemployment to under 5% (basically the unemployable most likely like yourself) brought rates down to 8% within a year, freed the hostages from limp boy JC and gave the US a sense of pride. Plus ended the cold war. You are stupid.
