  • das war der blatthalter :-)

  • There you can See if the heli crash in hoovering.whats with 3D

  • Thats why i fly with align ;)

  • are the maverick 325mm blades better than eflites blades for the 450 3d? i know wood blades are definately not for 3d.

  • This is y its important to do pre-flight checks. i bet that he didnt check the spacing between the blade grips and the head block. i bet the feathering shaft was loose.

  • R.I.P.

  • he landed it, so technically it was a 3d maneuver.

  • sniped!

  • looks like sumit hit it ?

  • meh 5 minute fix easy im 11 and im already fixming my blade 400 my logo 600 and my trex 550 so your fucking noobs faggot with highfucking pitch voice go get it cracked you fuck gay as screacching cunt

  • @planbzine You've got problems kid....lol, hopefully your parents are onto it and getting you serious help! GL!

  • @planbzine, you need a new hobby...preferably one that will teach you not to curse like a sailor.

  • camera 101, the blade is rotating so fast that when the blade lets go, the fist (and only) frame that catches it its already several feet away. a camera with a higher fram per second, would show the blade let go, but only a very high end high speed camera can catch this..

  • If you pause it right at 0:49 you can see the heli flipping over and the "white thing" clearly a few feet away.

  • If you look closely, you can easily see that the white "object" was the blade throwing off, NOT "him" throwing anything at as. Pause the video at the moment where the crash happens and you will see that the heli is already wrecked when the object is half way towards it, meaning that it must be going away.

  • Compleatly broaken all because of him him plus this =missing parts

  • Theres a lot of Maintence required in this hobby, yes keeps all those screws loctited up really well.

  • @Feckerhead theres a nylock nut holding the bolt to the blade therefore no need for locktite at all. Also the blades are not supposed to be tight there has to be a fair amount of play to stave off vibration.

  • @layingrail Who said anything about the blades being tight? Some people.

  • 1:03 "COMPLETELY BROKEN..."

  • Grande stronzata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Him + That = Broken Parts

  • ....I don't think it was the tail-rotor...but maybe the nar-rator...she said... "don't fly that at me" ... and then her powers stopped the craft....Yet him + that = equals broken parts... love it...

  • it's just like a brother.OOPS to bad so sad ..then brake is fav cd oops

  • look at the video you can see something was thrown at the heli no blade let go .

  • @macdaddy1600 That's the blade stupid....

  • Is that in dee why?

  • the same thing happend to me

  • WOW!!! Is anybody here taking into account that absolute fricken SPANK of a landing. I know your son is learning so I'm not trying to be offensive. But always in a crash video theres someone tossing rocks or flaming tennis balls and stuff at your heli or plane.... That was about a 1.5-2 foot straight drop. Now that is gonna load up the root of the blade alot! and Wood blades arent known for there amazing strengh.

  • if you look really closely you can see Chuck Norris run in, snap the rotor off between his finger and thumb and run away again. he moves fast so watch carefully .

  • @bandito71 And when the repair it, he'll be back in a flash. lol

  • @bandito71 if you look really closely you can see Chuck Norris run in, and BITCH SLAP the faggot that uses a retarded Chuck Norris comment! Only because he's seen it posted on millions of other videos and he thought he would be cool if he copied them!

  • @psygn0sis look at you go, reading other peoples comments and getting all fired up. you can see what you think is a wrong and you try to right it, its almost as if the spirit of chuck norris live within you. go in peace my brother, go in peace !

  • people keep saying it looks like something hit it, nothing hit it looks like a blade broke off and was thrown away by its own inertia

  • Surprised to read so many think that something was thrown at it (and other similar vids). With wood blades, the blade root reinforcements MUST be glued to the wood of the blade (and not just the covering), otherwise this will happen (and has happened), a split right at the bolt hole.

  • nothing hit the helicopter...it justs looks like it...the blade actually did come off...if you pause it at 49 seconds you can see the helicoper on the ground already destroyed and a blade flying to the left :)

  • nothing hit the helicopter...it justs looks like it...the blade actually did come off

  • if u pause at 49 secs it looks like the heli is hit by a ball

  • thats an optical illusion... the blade flies off so quick that it just looks like something is hitting it

  • HAHAHAHA

Him, plus that... = ... missing parts! HAHAHAHA

    awesome vid

  • That BITCH! Shoulda been in the FUCKIN KITCHEN.

  • compwetely browken.

  • If you stop it at .59 you'll see that the plastic root ends and grip bolts are still in the grip. Clearly the root failed and shot the blade out. No fault of the pilot.

  • PS.. This is exactly what happened to mine yesterday.. but in straight and level flight... Its totalled - Bummer!

  • Are you at Dee Why? That park looks familiar..

  • Glad no one was hurt. A blade flying off a helicopter that fast could lead to serious injury.

  • That must be a golf ball

  • my worst RC accidents:

had a small RC stealth plane, flew over some kids back yard and he shot it with a BB gun on the right Engine causeing it to spiral out of control, plane was never found.

2nd is when i had an RC Helicopter, was about 150 FT in the air until the screws in the back tail rotor came loose and went into the blades. falling into a Tennis Court that was in use. (almost hit someone)

  • well, pause it at :50, the object is still in the air when the heli is already exploded... maybe the camera is just slow, but it looks like to me it actualy threw a blade

  • This is a big crock of bs - its obvious this guy and his pathetic kid want attention. Its clear something was thrown at it so dont say it just exploded when your stupidity, yes STUPIDITY MADE IT HAPPEN SO!! Dumbass.

  • lol you can see that someone throw something from the left on the helicopter

  • @eldan94 No, in very slow motion you can see that is the blade that seperated... the frame rate doppler makes it look like it was going towards the heli.. Mine failed exactly the same way yesterday

  • I think it was a bird that flew in there, good flying though :-)

  • I analysed the video and nothing was thrown. It was really the blade that flew away. The flight of it was within 1 frame of the video! My Blade 400 also lost the blades as i tested it careful. Suddenly i heared a bang and the Blade 400 had no blades! This also killed one servo.

  • Well... It allways seems like something hits the heli when the blade let go and you're watching it on film. But if you look closer you'll see that the heli breaks before it gets hit... it has to do with the frame rate of the film :) Anyway, keep flying these fun birds!

  • Well! it looks like the thing my remote controlled bee hit.

  • That's not something being thrown at the heli. That's the blade flying away at it let loose. It isn't uncommon. Blades (especially wooden blades) and blade grips have a tendency to let loose more than people would like to think.

  • Not often you see a great video like this. Thumbs up!

  • unless ur retarded the bit that looks like its thrown at it, is actually a blade flying away from the helicopter

  • blade missing...thing

  • in porpus

  • just to clarify what people think.

ive studied this video again and again and athough it apears as if something was thrown, its not, the camera fps cant catch all what happens,

this is why it apears as if something hits it then the sound, if you look closley you will see one blade disapear before the stick thing comes into veiw, which is the thrown blade, often when learning on helis with woodies on is that they split right down the centre in minor crashes and bumpy landings,

  • after going over the video frame by frame after seeing something fly twords the heli. it is actualy our mind playing a trick on us. (additive vision) the white object is the blade heading away from the heli. we just see it for a such a short time and notice the reaction to the heli and our mind tells us something hit it. when in fact that would be wrong.

  • golf ball did not hit it it was the blade wizzing away at 300 mph

  • be glad its a golf guy ,they mostly have enough money ,so he could pay up for the damage he made

  • I think Tiger Woods did this on purpose. He is a little pissed off at the moment.

  • Nothing hits this bird! Thats the blade flying off that your seeing.

  • Bigfoot.

  • him + that = missing parts

    HAHAHA...

  • definately hit by a golfball

  • actually a golf ball hit it. sorry cant jump down his throat this time about how he shouldve used loctite and checked the bird pre flight like everyone does on youtube

  • feathering shaft came loose and one blade holder flew out from the rotor head. With the rotor head with blade spinning unbalanced wobbling, blade hit the tail boom that caused the blast. Use loctite!.

  • looks like a feathering spindle may have come loose

  • FOUR!!!!!

  • a ball from the left side hit your heli!!

  • looks like a golfball

  • pause at 0:49 and you'll see somthing flew out!

  • Buy a trex 450...:)

  • My trex 450 exploded too :D

  • why would yo throw a golf ball at it

  • maybe there just rich and ceeb with it

  • pause at 0:49

  • Comment removed

  • Actually it looks like the blade snapped...

  • wow...sorry for ur loss..but gring it to ur local hobby shop im sure they will fiz it

  • Ga ta schooz ain mabee Deyll fizz you grwamma pwobwem

  • Yep, some thing hit it. Maybe a golf ball.

  • i wish i could through golf balls at all my models and se that happen get a life you dicks the blade failed due to an impact and at that speed it gonna rip to shreds

  • looks like a golf ball hit it

  • im sorry but it isnt a golf ball hitting it it is just the blade going off

  • Ouch. I had a blade grip come off my 400 while in low hover once. It was my fault. I forgot to tighten them after a head rebuild. It tore the heck out of my heli. As bad as any crash I've ever had. Hasn't happened since, but I always worry about it when spooling it up. At 2000 rpms, those blades can do some damage if they come flying off and hit you. Keep flying!

  • Comment removed

  • looks like the blade grip screws came slack and you lost a blade hence it getting chucked a few feet in the air

when you rebuild use some thread lock glue on those moving parts

its best to assume these things will happen and cure it before hand, than to it happen and not expect it

those blades spin at very high rpm so take every precation possible

as belive me you dont want to be on the receiving end of a flying blade Oooooo :(

  • I think it might have been a golf ball. You had all that open field and something had to invade your space!

  • There is no doubt whatsover that something was thrown at the heli. Even in slow motion u can see something looks like a small ball is headed toward the heli before the heli explodes. Not rocket science guys. Nice experiment......however foolish.

  • hmmm... I can see what you mean... it does look like something flew in... on the proper vid at home, that doesn't appear. The main rotor blade split at thr root, and flew off... this threw the heli out of balance and hence the crash...

  • @maccanaut yeah a golf ball maybe..defo came in from the side! Bullseye unlucky..though could have hit one of you guys..

  • @maccanaut something much really have been thrown at it or the propeller flew that way making it look like someone threw something at it.

  • @maccanaut you're an idiot

  • @jSWINofRP And ur such a nice and friendly tosser

  • @maccanaut the white thing is the rotor blade. If you stop the movie you will see that the heli is allready broken when the white 'thing' appears. It seems to hit the heli but its just the opposite, it flew away.

  • @maccanaut No, tummybonz is correct. Because of the framerate of the camera, it only captures the blade after it is some distance away from the helicopter, giving the ILLUSION that something it flying towards the copter, but this is not the case. The blade broke and nothing was thrown at the heli.

  • @Gamezalot Fair enough. I accept that, but my life has moved on. ;-P

  • @maccanaut You can CLEARLY see the WHITE blade break off! Jesus, I get sick and tired of these "PROFESSIONALS" analyzing videos.

  • @psygn0sis Take a chill pill mate. It isnt a big thing u know? Donno whats goin on in ur life but maybe take a holiday?

  • @maccanaut I just looked at this frame by frame, and as the object appears on screen the heli is already out of control, sideways, and missing a blade. I think what you saw as the object was actually the blade itself, flying away from the heli. The reason why it would appear to be flying towards the heli, and not away from it, could be explained by a low frame rate on the camera that was used for the recording.

  • @freefallingmonkey Agreed. I've wiped the egg off my face already. :)

  • I seen something fly in from the left side and hit the helicopter. Am I the only one that has seen this or am I seeing things. ????

  • Just the blade bolts came loose....should used thread lock.......lack of maintance

  • well, you being the expert, would know that the blades are retained with nyloc nuts, and no loctite is used on them! lol.... but thanks for the advice.

  • @billiebumblebee I beleive he was refering to the blade grip bolts. The bolts the hold the blade grips to the feathering shaft, only screw into metal, and need to have locktite. However, if the blade grip itself was still attached to the rotor head, then nevermind :)

  • @billiebumblebee nyloc nuts come loose, so thread lock would of helped. Once the bolt has cut the thread into the nylon, and removed once or twice, its only as good as a standerd nut.

  • cause your retarded and couldn't handle one!

  • acually i have a cx3,msx, and a msr. I wouldnt get a blade 400 because there like $500, and if i crash i would have 2 work for 4 months to earn that back up again

  • that could have ended with a trip to the doctor

  • damn thats dangerous

  • I only let this happen to me one time....now i check my blade holders, mounts and feathering shaft screws before i even think about flying....glad to hear you got it back in the air...happy flying!

  • omfg keep replaying it and watch the wing shoot off like a bullet

  • In the helicopter world, they are referred to as rotors

  • 0_O lol i know mate, just not use to that word yet

  • Oh, ok

  • rotor blades to be exact ;-)

  • lol that shit was badass great vid bro sorry bout the heli

  • I hate having to search for parts after something breaks. Did you replace your servos?

  • All heli breaking loose!

  • Bloody hell lol..

  • how did that happen?

  • Happened because it threw a rotor blade. The blade came out at the root, and sent the heli into an out of balance weapon. lol. All fixed now, and back in the air

  • Comment removed

  • no contest. Trex 500 is WAY better than the blade. The Blade is a good practice/learner heli.... and this one isn't stock anyhow!

  • Thanks for the reply! As a beginner, I think I will start with a Blade 400.

  • That is amazing video! Do you prefer Blade 400 or Trex500?
