I don't know why people hate so much glee, I know the original song are way better that the ones from glee, but in a way, they're making like a tribute of this amazing singers, and letting know the new generetions about this amazing songs
Yes I love it-- made my now 21 yr old daughter watch the movie when she was a teen, and she has it on her ipod-- lol love it! Yeah I raised her right.
AS a teacher, I've lived so many moments like this, listening to irt chills me to the bone. I have to say to myself; it's okay; don't cry, don't cry, don't cry
My mom bought this album for me at a garage sale for $2. I played it over and over again when I was in elem school and jr. high. I entered talent shows singing "To Sir With Love". Thanks for posting good memorable material here.
I made a youtub video responce to this video cause i love it but when i spent all day up loading it twice and the music failed to upload i thought i would audio swap it so heres mine even though it should have the music of Lulu on it instead Love ya Lulu
@jjccccc Hi, my vid response made it ok by YT's copyright bots, but I just thought I'd tell U that if yours didn't, all U have to do is use a program like Blaze Media Pro to either raise or lower your mp3 by 1 semitone. It will then make it past YT's copyright bots. Not to be harsh, but you've now got a vid response here where neither the video or audio has ANYTHING to do with the song "To Sir With Love". Fix it or pull it.
@Wanch1e1ady She still tours, I saw her last year in London. She sounds fabulous and looks great. I had the pleasure of meeting her back stage. She is warm, funny and gracious and looks half her age!! Take a look at other videos try "Weve got tonight" with Ronan Keating, and " If tomorrow never comes".
I heard this for the first time when I went to see the movie (same title) when it first came out. I was awestruck with it then, and still am. Movie ticket was 15 cents, popcorn and candy bars were a nickel each. Previews, 2 movies, and 2 cartoons. Awesome flick. I was 16.
This song makes me think,of all the cool there was in the 60s,i have to hold back the tears, thinking how cool it was to have such great talent,at our finger tips, also school, and falling in love,i truly can say it is a hallmark,in my memory 's as a young boy.
@mutantroosta HOLY CRAP! I am so jealous. I saw it in the movie for the first tiem when I was like 12 or 13 and I fell in love this song, but have downloaded it since and listen to it all the time, but it must not compare to the real thing. You might want to keep that in good condition cuz its gonna be worth something someday, like when Lulu passs on. (hopefully thats not soon) but ya! Kudos! :)

@Deadcat069 The movies was a good movie, I admit most movies never live up to the book, but the movie in my opinion lived up to the book. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, I respect yours and I hope you respect mine.
@Deadcat069 You got to be kidding. I saw Snookey on Letterman the other night and had to jump to turn the channel That girl is nothing but a pig . Like all reality shows the people are all dysfunctional. All of them.
great song indeed but the sixty's was a great time for music and the worst . I was born in the sixty's as well and find I am mostly embarrassed by the whole drugged out youth and the lying manipulative adults. it was a disgusting time but then these jewels would come along and pow . I'm liking the sixty again.
@aspenrebel This song, for me, is about the time Sir Paul McCartney smoked a royal doobie in the Royal Loo Loo (Lulu) while visiting the Queen of England. If he took a royal doodoo, even more perfect. Because just when I thought I couldn't survive another day without my canceled TV show Howdy Doody, along came the Fab Four.
This is one of my Favorite Songs, and Favorite Movies of all time. Brings back memories, and always hits me................jeffper2... you had a crush on Lulu and Susan George? yikes!!!..... What about Tweety? .... I'd say, back then, for English gals, I'd say I had the hots for "Emma Peel" on "The Avengers".
@JapJuno86 You are sooooo right. The 60's will never be equaled. I was born in the sixties and can honestly say that what we hear now does not even 'scratch' the surface of the SIXTIES.

I've never heard anyone sing this song as beautifully as Lulu. This is a classic. Love it. And how old is she now? Like 60? Damn, she looks good.

@zLuxz Of course she looks good. We now have plastic to replace all the broken and sagging parts.

Iove this song. personaly but i prefer lulu's version over glees.
the first time i heard this song was from karen walker (from will & grace), her version is so funny.
I highly recomend the movie "to sir with love" to anyone that likes this song too.
