Hi Colette. I went to Sally Beauty Supply today and bought Flashy. I'm so glad I found it. Ever since I've seen your polish in motion of Hidden Treasure w/various colors, I've been trying to find it or something similar to it. I found Essie's version but didn't want to spend that much money on nail polish. Glad you mentioned Finger Paints Special Effects, the price was right and I can't wait try it!!! Thanks.

OMG! I am so excited! I made my very first trip to Sallys today!! $80 later... lol I got flecked and motley as well as a silver (easel come, easel go) and decided to try their base coat. Also got Seche Vite top coat, Orly liquid vinyl, nina ultra pro purple x-ing, savvy purple shock and party pink (on clearance) and China Glaze in dorthy who? and flying dragon (neon) all of these brands are first for me but after u told me about Sallys in Canada I just had to try and I'm so excited!! THANKS!

zoya flecks effects 2012 is like this but the flecks have a blue, green, and peach base. I mentioned the flecks in your other videos. its amazing. I don't know what the difference between a base colored flecks compared the more opal base color.

Oooooh! If you did a water marble with that red, a maroon, a yellow, and a black, and then the finger paint flakies over it, it really would look like lava, how pretty!

Went and bought Twisted today as well as the black. IT'S GORGEOUS!!! Thanks so much for sharing! (I also got a couple other clearance colors the Au Champagne and another Finger Paints from the Holiday collection, the name of which escapes me but its a pretty hot pink color.

Great vid! quick question kinda off topic.... lol Umm I was wondering if you know of a good brand of nail polish that is odorless? I have someone i live with that is sensitive to strong smells nail polish/hair spray/prefume etc. I totaly miss painting my nails! If not no worries :) and Thanks !

I feel like the lighting is just a touch overexposed and that's partially why its hard to see the effects of your light-colored polishes. Great videos/polishes though!

I found an Essie polish today that dupes hidden treasure. i think its a special edition similar to the finger paints. it is Essie Luxeffects in Shine of the Times. It's a bit pricey but i have wanted hidden treasure forever so i had to have it.

@imf1999mayo well they're all a little different - hidden treasure & shine of the times are nearly identical, the closest to them is probably flashy although it doesn't have as much coverage at one coat, but my favorite of these is probably flecked =) but it all comes down to personal taste

Not a complaint just a suggestion, the glare from the light can sometimes make it harder to see the full effects of the polish, especially the flakeys in this collection. Maybe next time you could put a matte top coat on to show us what they look like?love the videos, happy new year!

For everyone who is asking: The OFFICIAL release date of these polishes was suppose to be January. Some stores put them out early...my Sally's did. However, they have ordered more for the upcoming year. Like Colette has said, many, many, times: Don't be afraid to ask your Sally's when they are expecting these or when they'll be expecting more.

Have you seen the new Nails Inc. special effects polishes? They come in little packs of 2. Like there is a dark color and a flaky polish that go together. I got one that has green and gold. It's really pretty. I got it at Sephora.
