Can the Virus A generate its own noise for MIDI out? I'll normally be using an external device into the MIDI in, but I wanted to know if this is also an option. Thanks!
Even this Virus A model is better than JP8000,the sound are more authentic and more analog. Only + to the JP is a Supersaw oscillator which Virus A do not have.
@dadigitechman I've had both, any model Virus blows the 8080 out of the water. The 8080 is cool, but the Virus sounds better and is the more powerful synth in just about every way.
I bought a Virus C a few weeks ago and I was just floored by it's sonic potentials and ease of use....having said that would it make any sense to pick up a Virus A
synthesizer that someone is selling? Would there be much overlap/repetition?
@exportgenie hey, if u dont mind could we talk about audio a bit? im trying to get a stash or music gear together but i want to make sure im investing my money in the right area. im liking what i hear and see right now, but could we talk more?
you use midi or maybe usb and hook it up to a keyboard. Then you can you use the tabletop module to change various parameters. He just has it playing a demo song in the vid...
It's crazy having that many - but I can't do a whole lot with them just yet as I have to completely finish the basement before putting them into either my office or a separate studio.
I don't have much use for them as I can't play worth a damn but my son sure can and he loves them.
It's funny how some objects have so much value for someone and not at all for someone else. I think that you should try to understand how it works. There is so much fun you can get out of this.
No, I'm not a musician. My son is 12 1/2 years old and just loves them. He can read music and play rather well, I can't.
He just needs to learn how to use them, change parameters, create different sounds and use one of the five samplers.
I hoard computers, radio controlled sailplanes and lasers. My brother hoards books, dvds and synthesizers.....my son hoards video games.......and kittens...
i recognize the acid lead used in this demo, where is it from?
