The V-Max was (and still is) one of the most awesome bikes ever, and this one has been made even better. The only two flaws with the stock V-Max is the gearing within the tranny needs to be spread out more, and they should have done it with a chain drive instead of shaft.

@melmonit, Too chain drive your Vmax costs about $4500.00 and up,engine cases, and output shaft have to be machined and then it depends on rim,swingarm you choose (all custom) it's not cheap but about 11 more hp to the wheel and @75+ LBs lighter and no shaft jackup!.

Thanks Guys for the positive feedback. The motor in the (RIPPER) is a 1500cc bigbore w/all the go fast parts. The EFI is from a good freind Bill at Wildbrothers motorsports, it works excellent. The bike is a 100 LB ligher than stock and is alot of fun. I've got some more killer mods. in the works! "Come on spring"

Ya, there aren't many of these Vmaxes around to begin with, let alone ones with chaindrives. There was another guy about five years ago that had one that was modded up pretty good, I've ridden with both of these guys, Kosy was the other guys name, complained his gearset only let him do 183... What is kewl about the Max is not just how fast it goes, but how fast you get there.
