the open beaches on the goldy r the best, points r good but you have to deal with blow ins and mad kelly wanna b locals with stickers that make their board go faster. stick to the beachies if u want good waves mermaid,currumbin,nobbys,finga­l. superbank can be good when its bigger less kooks. but overall most gold coast surfers r ok show respect and get some.
