Great performance, Ringo in good shape and you can feel the love he had for George. Still I wondered why he didn't play more obscure songs like 'Wrack My Brain' or 'Sunshine Life For Me (Sail Away Raimond)' and went for two of his standards which he's been playing for ages now. It seems to me that Paul really tried to make the most of his presence at this concert by learning a couple of songs he never did. It's still great to see Ringo perform in this shape though. Any thoughts on this?

I have no idea if he would, I hope so but he was discovered. He was a drummer in other successfull bands in Liverpool before the Beatles and he was good enough to join them. He has taken alot of crap because he didn't write many Beatle songs and was not as talented as the other ones but he was a big part of the Beatles and they were lucky to have him wich they would probobly agreed on.

Since Ringo is a part of the Beatles, if he didnt have the ability to compose/write a song instantly....then...John & Paul should have written for him in between.
