I feel that they are attacked because there are huge misconceptions among both the black and latino communities regarding conservatives. What's funny is that when you discuss values and ideals -without mentioning parties-(which is key) most will agree with conservative views. It's sad because "minorities" are deliberated mislead my the democratic party in order to continue getting their votes. Then race is thrown in and that's the end of it. People who are angry will never listen to reason.

I guess you didn't read my post. I never said the party was so diverse that they have several GOP members in congress. I said that the reason that there are so few black and latino Republicans is because the democratic party deliberately paints a negative picture of them and tries to make minorities think that it is wrong to be a republican and a minority at the same time. I can keep going too. Latinos and blacks overwhelmingly display conservative values. We are some of the most intelligent and hardworking people around. Immigrants come to this country with nothing and build up businesses and communities from the ground up. Many small business owners are minorities. Without conservative policies, they wouldn't be able to get the tax breaks they need to continue doing business and hiring more workers (aka you and me.) How is the republican party hurting us?

It's a dead city. People are NOT equipped to work factory jobs??? Wrong. My dad did at GM, and he had a 3rd grade education at the time. Jesse Jackson ran in 84'. @veriteez One of the "Panthers" was actually a poll watcher that did not want a repeat of the 2000 elections that were stolen by Bush..The case was dropped by the Justice department and one of the "Panthers" was told not to bring any type of weapon to the polling station....None of the voters were denoed their right to vote unlike the situatioon in Florida during the 2000 election...Unlike most conservatives you seem to admit a few things so there is hope that you can accept the truth....
