@USPSAman yeaaaa... they actually make good movies now. Like Wedding Crashers or Superbad or Old School.

What people don't understand is other than the 10 minutes of screentime Murray gets of some of Chase's scenes... the movie is awful. No flow, some real stupid parts (pool scene, the yacht club, rodney dangerfield in total) and perhaps the worst ending of a movie there is.

I just watched a making of Caddyshack this morning on A&E, it was fascinating. For instance the original script had NO lines in it for Murray, he just started ad libbing all over the place and they just had to include him. Murray had just 6 days available to shoot his scenes, and him & Chase were far from friends. On Murray's last day they realized they had no scene with the two of them together so they shot this. The critics crucified this when it was released, of course now it's a classic!
