Damn, seeing it live was amazing. I was a little worried at the when he was getting a little GNP from Roger's but was quickly reassured when he seemed to get comfortable in the cage. I recommend anyone who has a chance to go see him live, awesome experience. The GOAT , no other fighters compare.

Well thats his style when having people in his guard. He just lies there, very relaxed and waiting for the GnP to start, as soon as his opponent starts to GnP he goes for the ARMBAR, but missed it on rogers, since the cage got in the way.

You can see examples of this in fights like Coleman/Hong..same behavoir,same pattern,same technic.

I am aware of that, but I do not recall him taking shots like that in previous fights even against a prime CC. I think the cage did pose a few challenges to him, failed armbar. But he did what he always does, showed the world why he is the best. The shots from ROger's landed flush and could have been very damaging if 1 or 2 more landed cleanly

Ye very true. What i thought was even more impressive was that while trying to pull of that armbar, his entire face was covered in blood and it looked like he was almost doing it blindfolded so to speak, cause of all the blood.

Agreed 100%! I think one of the things that really seperates him from other fighter's. Fighting in a cage for the first time, busted open, getting GnP by a guy that had close to 50 pounds on him, yet still keeps calm and uses a submission attempt to at least get Roger's off him. GOAT, no question. I mean the armbar wasnt secured but it still stopped Roger's and then to come back in the 2nd round and destroy the guy. I don't think we will ever see another fighter like Fedor again
