Is this the 917 from the Bianco-Rosso museum, the one with no chassis plate? How come it's in 021 LM 1970 colors? I thought 021 is in Belgian hands now ????
yes and no, the one in Belgian hands probably it's the 012, the one who donate some parts to this car when it crashed at Le Mans...now with the mess they (Porsche) have done with the chassis there are two 021 chassis 'cause the number plates passed from a car to the other...the original 021 with the front of the rear-damaged 012 and the remaining pieces of the 012 and 021 welded up to make a spider 917...that is what a remember but i'm not sure to 100%, be careful...
@blk8911 you seem to know a lot about these cars, so I´m going to ask you. could you please tell me what car is this one restored? I mean when and where did it race originally (if it ever did)? thanks in advance
