@TheInvalidChronicles Just someone titling their video upload, but mainly, I'd say because just before Eugene goes on stage Willie gives him a bag of "mojo" the "mojo hand" a voodoo charm, plus that last bit of guitar virtuosity Eugene busts out with that wins the contest.
@useit90 He's like motherfucker but he's like, oh wait I'm Steve Vai, and I believe I did invent both ends of the solo, I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF TO LOSE D:<
@derfidacra I too have wondered this. I loved this movie and this was always my favorite part....imagine a classically trained guitar player...how awesome would that sound when applied to rock and the blues!!!
Karate Kid using classical guitar knowledge he learned in the beginning of the movie to whoop Steve Vai's ass in a guitar duel judged by Satan to win a man's soul back from eternal damnation? Classic.

wrong, it wasn't Steve Vai playng the guitar during the kids part, it was another guitar player, I can't remember his name right now. Also their was a contraversy (can't spell) about puting Steve Vai in the movie because something of him not really playing the blues but more of a rock istrumental, i don't know for sure so don't quote me on that.
i started learning this song today, i cheated a little bit and i tap the C note on the first bit, but all the arpeggios are still really difficult for me

omg...shut up...you clearly have no idea what your talking about...seriously...I started play guitar way before guitar hero and I play both...this is a difficult piece for begginer or intermediate...not advanced because youll know all the arpeggios
this is good but heres an interesting fact. The final note at 1.08? the bottom 2 notes of the triad are overdubbed. Its hte only part of the song that is.
Everyone disregard that last comment. This is my all time favorite video and some one with the youtube account AlMoStSk8r9 hacked my account. If you need to waste your time--send some garbage to him.
