WOW! what a beautiful model. Not a cheap model, but it`s definetly worth it i think lol. I also see you have a derrick set, do you also have the luffing jib set for it? :D
@cranecollector101 Thanks! it is a very nice model, it was very expensive but like you say definetly worth it, yeah I've got the luffer for it too! but I've never fitted it.
@stegro84 Haven`t you fitted it yet, then i think you should do it very soon. I really like the luffer, it`s like it completes the model. I think it goes up to about 3 meters height, and that is definetly cool.

I've bought them from quite a few different places the LTM 1800 came from Evot USA the AC 200 came from Collectors Cellar I've bought others from 3000 Toys, Bowmodellhandel, DMB Models, Fritzes Modellborse, Ebay and various model shows, but if your after a cheap AC 500-2 Ebays probably your best bet, its also worth while getting the luffing fly jib for it if you can it makes the model stand about 3 meters in height!!
I couldn't find the info as Liebherr doesn't make the LTM1800 anymore i don't think. (goes from the LTM1350 to the LTM11200 on the website)
I could be wrong but isn't the LTM1800 self errecting? Didn't see anything on the video that couldn't have been done self erecting except maybe the outrigger floats. (those are mammoth lol)
I think you could be right because the a-frame/ gantry and derrick have lifting hooks, there's probably quite a few flaws in this video, I tried doing some research befrore making this video but unfortunately couldn't find anything. thank you for your comment.
Hi funny you should mention it I've got planned to make a film on the MK100, I'm currently building a factory/ refinary diorama as soon as thats finished I'll start shooting
