  • Such a powerful piece!Agree with Katerina, the interpretation is interesting and good.

  • @Ivan85504 Thank you very much! I agree.

  • This is one of the songs on my life soundtrack. Prokofiev was in a different universe for this whole score, and only the movie with ALL of his music shows the brilliance of the project.

  • @kevindooley1960 Yes, indeed, I agree. I love the movie...I have seen it many times by now. I have the DVD and play it periodically. The musical score is unique, and one of the greatest ever. Thanks for the comment.

  • Great music!I prefer the original rendition, but it is still amazing.

  • One of the greatest anti-war films together with Tarkovski's "Ivan's childhood",to my mind. Unfortunately, the theme remains actual. As for the music it is unique: epic and deep simultaneously. Truly a masterpiece of music.

  • @SuperLuckydream Thank you very much. Yes, I agree. Prokofiev's music is deeply moving, and very memorable. This particular scene from Alexander Nevsky is extraordinary, and for me the most memorable moment in the movie, along with Alexander's entry into Pskov at the very end.
