They chase everything, so do mocking birds lol. I was sitting in the car one time and i saw a mocking bird chase a crow that was chasing a hawk, all flying in a straight line formation, it was hilarious.

That hawk has no idea the other birds saved his life, or at least saved his claws. Had he stuck his claws in the blades, whack! bye bye claws, and then bye bye heli. Cool Vid man! Thanks for sharing. As for scaring off the birds, usually the louder the plane or heli, the better at scaring them off. But if the birds are defending an area, well, I've not seen them leave yet.

If you don't hit anything, but is very close to doing so, it should be called a near hit.

A near miss should be when you're real close to missing something, but you still hit. ;)
