  • Okay for some who may not know, the SCAR was made for SOCOM not for the entire US military. The HK416 is being used by the Marines (Usually the M27 IAR version). This gun on the video is mainly being made to replace the M16/M4 completely, which means that the whole US military will be using this (if I'm correct on this).

  • Fewer not feet

  • Ak 74u huh? You mean an aks-74u.....your whole statement sounds like BS to me.... And about the recoil and buffers. Yes and no. A heavier buffer can reduce recoil and make it softer but main purpose is to put the bolt back in battery.... but I would say the lighter recoil with an ar is do to no piston and feet moving parts.

  • can you act buy a magpul masada as a civilian?

  • Give me an ACR Enhanced with a 1:7 twist rate (rather than current 1:9) and I will seriously consider it. In the mean time I'm sticking with my SCAR 16S.

  • how do they keep the recoil down when they remove the buffer tube? I thought that was the big reason a AR had such little recoil.

  • NOTICE BOLT WAS SMOOTH , NEED SAND CUTOUTS , LIKE FN-FAL , HAS IT BEEN TESTED TO FAILER IN GRITTING SANDY CRAP CONDITIONS , COMPARED TO OLD SCHOOL BATTLE RIFLES AT LEAST IN RELIABILITY .REALIZE THIS IS NEW SCHOOL BATTLE RIFLE TRYING TO GET MORE FROM A DESIGN BUT. GRUNTS WANT IT TO BANG TOO. ;-)

  • I have ordered this gun from my gun guy I own a M416 and a AK-74U and I must say This is a great gun I shot one when I was in the SEALs and I must say this is a great gun possibly the greatest gun ever made.

  • @MultiSr16 H&K

  • Pink is for Real Men

  • where is this gun actually being used?

  • will this be for the public or only military and if it is for sale for public have any price of it

  • NOP! the SCAR replaced it. ;)

  • I have a guestion. This seem like a REALLY neat rifle, although the price is a bit high $3,000 for the enhanced version. My question is if you buy it does it come with other barrels and recievers to change calibers? .223 REM, 5.56 NATO, and 6.8 SPC do all those come with it once you buy it or does it just come chambered in one caliber and you have to buy the rest as extras?

  • @joi1900 although you are correct that .223 and 5.56 are different rounds, you do NOT need different barrel and bolt assemblies to shoot them. You can shoot .223 in a weapon chambered for 5.56 just fine and most recreational shooters do this because its cheaper. However you are not supposed to use 5.56 in a .223 assembly but it will work, not as effectively or safely, but it will fire most of the time.

  • @joi1900 oh and to actually answer your question... i know the bushmaster comes with one assembly, 5.56, and i believe you can buy the 6.8 so my 2011 buyers guide black guns magazine says...

  • Just got my ACR payed 2500$. Now if I can get time away from the wife that YELLS about 2500$ for a rifle I can shoot it.....GO BUSHMASTER!

  • @M4rifleguy I would have bought 2 piston driven ar 15s and fully tricked them out for that much, but if you call 2nd type of cool, its all good.

  • I want that assault rifle so bad and I will mod it primarily for 6.5mm, 6.8x43mm and 7.62x39mm only. Not 5.56x45mm. I don't really trust that round unless you shoot him directly into his head.

Favorite assault rifle of all time "now". A friend of mine changed my mind from HK-416 to the MAGPUL MASADA.

  • looks like it could be great LMG and PDW too

  • @reverb478 u need to get a life.. Play mw2 if u like, but it's not even close to realistic, so plz don't make those comments it just make people mad

  • I m sure magpul is a very good rifle but the m416 has the advantage that the upper receiver is compatible with the m4/m16 lower receiver, makes it cheaper for the government

  • Thanks for the video1

  • Is that a Comp M4 Scope mounted? Sorry i have crappy speakers and didnt hear if you said.

  • i have a question what is the range of the weapon with the 5-56 and how much recoil does it have in terms of vertical displacement and psi of force in to your shoulder?

  • ok i dont know a lot of thing about weapons but its a sublect of interest for me and yess im a gamer!!

but since its a point of interest in real life...

BTW i know personnaly someone who shotted 105mm howitzer and some other militariles and im working in a machine shop on the list for Nexter.

    so my questions are:

is it true that ACR can really shot 7.6mm rounds as 5.6?

    and why its called Bushmaster??

  • @killingaces bushmaster is the componie that makes it and yes but you have to switch out the barel and the blot of the gun to make it fit

  • I'd take one downrange with me, but as a sporting weapon its overpriced and doesn't offer any capability that isn't on the market already for much less.

  • does this rifle come in a 6.8 spc yet?

  • i like how this video is 5:56 minutes long.

  • i perfer this over the xm8 i rlly don't c wat ppl looks into that gun. hk416 is acceptable weapon though

  • @scottyi88 haven't the xm8 production been cancelled?

  • @superstreetking95 yup i thnk this gun replaced it

  • on this acr what caliber bullet is it because my sound wont work and how accurate is it

  • @lane297 5.56 like an M-16 round and its VERY VERY accurate

  • @BACIOmioASINO ty google doesnt work on my cpu so i couldnt look it up

  • The account of the siege of Masada was related to Josephus by two women who survived the suicide by hiding inside a cistern along with five children, and repeated Eleazar ben Ya'ir's exhortations to his followers, prior to the mass suicide, verbatim to the Romans. Because Judaism strongly discourages suicide, Josephus reported that the defenders had drawn lots and killed each other in turn, down to the last man, who would be the only one to actually take his own life.

  • TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I keep an eye on these comments, and I ask that you all act like decent human beings. I understand a little profanity, but I WILL NOT TOLERATE racial slurs.

    I will remove offending comments.

Also, keep the "this sucks because videogameX...." out of here.

If you are into video games and have questions about the real thing, feel free to ask.

Lets all keep this a civil discussion about the real Masada/ACR.

  • @pfurey07 do u know when we will know if the military has decided to replace the m4 with this?

  • @pfurey07 that's great and all, but we can't trust the jigs with a gun like this.

  • @pfurey07 Hope your doing great! Just a quick question, both Bushmaster and Remington have the ACR on their sites. Who owns the rights to the gun? Just wanted to know if there is a difference. I know according to your video some changes have been made since the prototype. Thank you very much.

  • @pfurey07 100% with you. Don't know what happen to the youth these days.

  • @pfurey07

I've heard rumors about this being a possible replacement for the M16 and M14. Got any solid info on that?

  • Shut up about fucking video games. It's a waste of time. Don't base something in real life (ACR performance) off of video games.

  • this gun sucks i pwn it in mw2

  • @redgreenpaper MW2 is the most inaccurate shit on the planet, try educating yourself about firearms before judging based on a video game

  • @CJFortune94 wow i can prove you wrong on so many different levels. MW2 is pretty realistic compared to duke nukem, doom, timesplitters, pac man, and other video games. MW2 is not the most inaccurate shit on the planet. try educating yourself before you try educating others.

  • @redgreenpaper You really are an idiot aren't your, did I compare MW2 to other games no I compared it to real life. In real life the ACR has potential to be one of the greatest assault rifles on the planet any real firearm finatic will tell you that. Only dumbasses base there weapon opinions on video games

  • @CJFortune94 i dont know what you're high on. you said that MW2 is the most inaccurate shit on the planet. im just proving you wrong by telling you that there is more inaccurate shit on the planet than that. try and prove me wrong bitch nigga

  • @redgreenpaper Your skipping the actuall argument by picking on one thing I said in my argument becouse you can't prove me wrong you are a bitch that bases his weapons knowledge on video games. classic bitch move

  • @CJFortune94 no, i am not trying to skip this argument. if you go back and actually read my comments you will notice that i never disagreed with this gun being good. i just said i pwned this in mw2. you went on to say that mw2 is the most inaccurate shit ever. i disagreed with you and even proved you wrong. there was no argument except for the fact that you still think mw2 is the most inaccurate shit on the planet. which it isnt. bitch ass nigga

  • @reverb478 u shud get run over by a car.

  • @reverb478 ? you serious? you should run whle you still can...

  • I thought his voice just changed to a lower tone, but it was the microphone actually lol

  • I know what I want for Christmas.

  • i saved for the Bushmaster ACR, but at 2500 price point I got the LWRC M6A3 instead and i'm extremely happy. Both guns are nearly the same price so why you say??? Well at 1500 i was absolutely willing to give them a chance but at 2500, the ACR is not a proven design (long term) and parts availability will be terrible. Right now for my M6A3 i can find about 98% of my parts from any gun dealer/store. Again 1500 sure i'd take a "shot" at ACR, at 2500 thats a resounding NO!!!!!

  • Hopefully the top brass will go for a piston gun in the future, they will come to their sense and source domestically produced AR Piston uppers, ie LWRC...

LWRCbasic M6 uppers run at half the cost of the ACR.

  • with the incoming $2500 price tag, they could have at least gone with LMT for manafacture. Bushy? Might as well have chosen Oly :S.

One more thing, I like the idea of having a rocking ak type mag lower.

BTW Magpul; trying to appeal to AR fans on the basis on modularity aint gonna cut it.

  • does magpul masada have a own grenade launcher like SCAR?

  • I need this rifle.....

  • They should have named this rifle "legion" for it is many. Many different configurations, many different manufacturers. I'll assume many different users as well.

  • Bush u lie my best m8 is in army and doesn't even have these so your gun clubs more important that the UK USA or the world some how I think NOT

  • thats because they arent supplied yet

  • remington acr is better.

  • its the same rifle u dillhole... Magpul was jumping back and forth with manufactures

  • same damn thing.

  • Thats the military name for the gun rtard.

  • @MrBrian987987

The only difference between the Magpul Masada and Remington ACR/Bushmaster ACR is that the Masada is the prototype of the ACR. The main difference that I could find (I may be wrong) but I know that the charging handle is moved forward on the ACR compared to the Masada

  • I'm in gun club we get early release

  • @ georgeBUSHrules1 Just like george bush... YOU LIE to make YOURSELF look good.

  • @getemhi typical liberal. blame george bush for all of your problems

  • @packers729... like george bush... voicing your opinion and not fixing ANY problems.... taking the easy way out!!

  • @getemhi like obama. blame someone else to make yourself look better

  • @packers429. Thats original. Just like george bush... repeating the same crap... rewording what you already said, and think the people believe is a new line. Like Bush... YOU'RE OUT!! LOL. Nice effort though. But again... like bush.. you fail.

  • @getemhi and i suppose you want out of iraq too

  • @packers429 I am not in Iraq. Like george bush... you need a clue.

  • @georgeBUSHrules1 oh really??? even though they havent even been released yet

  • made more weapon like this LETS GO AMERICA

  • Bootgun

  • How much does it weigh?

  • @kickass741 about a half a pound to a pound lighter than the m4

  • All fun dude but shoot that baby!!!

  • Is the basic rifle configuration a good one for combat or just the enhanced?

  • yup--The suggested retail price for the Basic models is $2,685 and for the enhanced it is $3,061

  • when will these be put in the field

  • its suppost to cost around 3k

  • what i live in colorado. i wish i went to this thing

  • Anyone know how much it costs?

  • @BenTheMagnifice

    Basic configuration: $2,685

    Enhanced Configuration(shown here): $3,061

  • I saw them for around $2500...so a bit on the expensive side

  • 5:56 is a very appropriate time

  • lol the 556 round

  • Ok, this one looks cool enough like the others, but how much of an improvement is this?

  • A good improvement.

  • The 7.62X39 mm round is the classic soviet ak47 round and the 7.62X54 mm is the nato 7.62

  • @HeavenSxForce

    Still not right.

    7.62X39 -AK47, RPK

    7.62X54R - PKM, Mosin-Nagant

    7.62X51 NATO - M-14, M240

    @everyone else

The ACR may be additionally chambered in 7.62X39.

There will be no ACR in 7.62X51, since the round is too big to work in it.

Magpul is working on a prototype called the Massoud that is designed for larger cartridges such as the 7.62X51.

  • the ACR will about be able to go with

5.45x39mm witch is the AK-74 round

  • @pfurey07 can't wait to see the larger one

  • its 7.62X51 genius

  • @Th3J0kErMaN inst it 7.62X39?

  • 7.62x39 GENIUS...

  • 7.62X54 is the old Russian rimmed round used in the Mosin Nagant. It's comparable to the .303 British

7.62X51 is the NATO round also known as .308 Winchester in the USA

  • @HeavenSxForce its X51mm

  • @HeavenSxForce

    What about the 6.8mm?

  • im to young to have a rifle but im old enough to have an airsoft gun and so i might buy the GP masada/acr and its gonna be tight only if they made a gbb version

  • Is this the most current one? I recently saw a video of the most updated ones, but I can't tell.

  • no thats the original masada. i cant wait for the actual acr to come out though!

  • @XxWAMBAxX This is the older version, the newer version has the charging handle further ahead.

  • no, that ones charging handle is on the other side of the bolt, in the newest one, the charging handle is farther up, above the grip, but thats the only difference

  • i just noticed this video lasts 556 which is the round it shoots lol

  • @nightmaredeath6 doesnt it shoot the AK rounds too?

  • yes it also shoots the 7.62

  • @jsutton414

    7.62x39 or 7.62x54?

  • 7.62x39. the 7.62x54?? i dont think that even exists... i think you meant 7.62x51

  • 7.62X39 is the AK-47 round. It definitely does exist.

  • 7.62X39

  • I wasn't sure if they did that intentionally or by chance, I noticed that too. I was hoping part two would be 2mins23 seconds long. that would just be quality

  • Both

  • r u giveing it to the Canadians or the Americans

  • @GerszkeBros Its an American made assault rifle so guess.

  • My fav gun ACR Bushmaster

  • ResidentNinja: Let us all be thankful that it is not a Deagle. Having shot both the .357 and .50 cal versions of the weapon, I can not see how or why one would want a rifle to compare to that brute of a pistol...but if it makes you happy, sure go nuts. Maybe even get the gold-plated, diamond encrusted engraved version of the Deagle...the rest of us are more than happy with our humble service handguns.

  • Deagle is nice. But it's not Plasma Pistol or Laser Sable.

  • @residentninja.

    This gun actually fires.

  • But does it fire a .50?

  • You're a fucking moron. And a troll.

  • Man I'm glad you finally figured that out.

    Seriously.

  • Its just funny how everyone fucking hates you.

    Seriously.

  • I know.

It's hilarious to get people's nut hairs in a knot.

I think I should start doing this on all gun videos and see what happens.

  • Go for it no life.

  • Honestly man, this shit is funny.

  • alrighty then.

  • You're kidding right?

  • @scuds03

for the few people that even can fit their hand around the desert eagle let them go head and use it but i assure you i know people in the military you are not going to opt for a higher weight gun and lesser round count special forces such as MEUSOC are perfectly happy with their kimber warriors. navy seals use the P226 and others, and if i remember correctly Delta uses 1911's as well no military man in there right mind would use a weapon that heavy such as a desert eagle

  • butyful weapon

  • if its produced in .308 im sold and all my ar15s are dead to me haha =)

  • No sir, the ARC/Masada was specifically designed to avoid the 7.62x51 (308). Having to adopt a caliber like that would have forced the design team to make the rifle bigger and heavier, so they opted out and stuck with 5.56, 5.45, 6.5Grendel, 6.8SPC, and 7.62x39. Seeing as you can still reach out and touch somebody at 800 yards, (with right combo), they figured that they didn't need to follow the FN SCAR design.

  • spoken correctly by someone who knows nothing aboout firearms.

sure the "deagle" is "cool".... but it's a piece of crap

  • @formulanerd The deagle is deadly if you know how to use it the .50 ae round has enough stopping power to take someone down in one shot , 7 shots , 7 kills .

  • @chriserz94 You can kill with any handgun with 1 shot one kill.

  • yeah just iamagine the possiblities you run out of 5.56 ammo just grap a downed enemys ammo, swap barrels and get right back into action.

  • i just wish it wouldnt look so cheap

  • it doesnt

  • @Alexx1792

It's just because it's made by IKEA, comes in flatpack with complementary Allen keys.

I'll be having one of them for Xmas.

  • What? Please tell me your not serious. There is a reason no military, law enforcement unit uses the desert eagle.

  • no it isnt

  • @scuds03

    you suck

  • @NWScouser1892 You swallow HAHAHA

  • @scuds03

you base your opinions from call of duty

  • The video is 5.56 minutes long.

  • What's new is it is a deployment ready gun for the USA. No new training or explainations needed. Drop a box of ACRs and set them loose. For people already intimate with the m4 m16 ar15 it feels like home but can shoot the enemy's rounds if needed.

  • I don't get it? This is the same concept as the SCAR? So whats new here?

  • What cavie said but added to that is, you only need to change the barrel an you can fire 6.8 or 7.62 with the same lower receiver an mags for the gun. Your regular AR mags will work too just won't fit other ammo obviously. With a lower change you can us AK mags too. Much better in simplicity an expansion then the SCAR. I am an AR fan but love this gun over an AR. That is hard to say too.

  • @warjunkie44

Just to clear stuff up, the ACR has many of the same features of the SCAR, but its biggest selling point is its quick conversion system. The SCAR only comes in 5.56 and 7.62 variants, and each are different guns.

  • Vaporware.

  • uhmmm.. is it a 6.8 caliber? or a 5.56 caliber?

maybye a 7.62?i am french and i don't understand anything ,help me and say to me what caliber uses this bushmaster acr plz, thx!

  • its interchangeable with the 5.56 and 7.62 and theres the masoud

  • really? thats awesome

  • well because you can change the upper reciever and barrels and what not its like the scar

  • ohhhhhhhhhh cool thanks man

  • it can work with all those rounds and also with the 6.5 grendle round

  • the Bushmaster ACR is interchangable with 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC and 7.62 x 39, which is the AK round. very nice gun, because you never run out of ammo

  • so let me get this straight. to go from 5.56 to 6.8 all you have to do is change out the barrel but to go from 5.56 to 7.62 you have to change the barrel and the lower receiver?

  • 5.56x45=>new bolt, barrel, magazine =>6.8SPC

    5.56x45=>new bolt, barrel, lower, magazine=>7.62x39

    6.8SPC=>new barrel, lower, magazine =>7.62x39

  • ok that explains it. now i need to get one. i hear a lot of debate on when it will be available.

  • magazine well.....

  • I think if this rifle had some kind of recoil canceling system similar to the one in the ak107/108, this rifle would, in fact, be the ultimate infantry rifle. If you haven't seen a rifle with the AK107/108 Balanced Automatic Recoil System (BARS), definitely look it up. It's a pretty interesting innovation.

  • Unlik the MB,i think this will acually begin service.

  • Is it light weight?

  • its half a pound lighter than the M4
